‘I told Saxon I’m nothing like my father and I meant it. I listen and learn and I will not stick my head in the sand when it comes time to govern.’
‘You will govern?’
‘Of course! I won’t be the Dictor for a while, but I will assist in advice and guidance initially. I am the firstborn, so even though I have brothers, it will be my prerogative to decide if I want to be Dictor or not. And I choose yes.’
‘I hadn’t thought the same rules would apply in the communities. Wasn’t your father elected?’
