When Two Hearts Collide

Emily walked into the tattoo parlor, looking for her best friend, Sarah. She had told Emily she was getting a tattoo, but Emily had no idea what to expect. As she entered the parlor, she was immediately struck by the colorful artwork on the walls and the sound of heavy metal music. The smell of ink and disinfectant filled her nostrils, making her wrinkle her nose in distaste. Ryder looked up from his workstation, where he was tattooing a client's arm. Their eyes met, and Emily felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. She quickly looked away, trying to compose herself. She had heard rumors about Ryder, the bad boy of the town, and she wasn't sure what to make of him. "Hey, can I help you?" Ryder asked, his deep voice sending shivers down Emily's spine. He was even more handsome than she had imagined, with his chiseled features and piercing blue eyes. "I'm looking for Sarah," Emily replied, trying to sound calm. She didn't want to seem nervous in front of Ryder. Ryder nodded and pointed to the back of the parlor. "She's getting a tattoo from my colleague. You can go back and see her if you want." Emily nodded and made her way to the back of the parlor. As she passed Ryder's workstation, she couldn't help but notice the way his eyes seemed to follow her. She felt a flutter in her chest, and her heart began to beat faster. When she reached the back of the parlor, she saw Sarah sitting in a chair, getting a tattoo on her ankle. Emily's eyes widened in surprise - she had no idea Sarah was getting a tattoo there. "Hey, girl!" Sarah exclaimed, seeing Emily. "Come check out my new tattoo!" Emily walked over to examine the tattoo. It was a small star, intricately designed with tiny lines and patterns. "It's beautiful," Emily said, trying to sound enthusiastic. Sarah grinned. "Thanks! I'm so glad I got it. Ryder designed it for me." Emily's eyes met Ryder's, who was watching them from across the room. She felt a shiver run down her spine, and quickly looked away. How's that?
