Chapter 2

Ezra The worse thing that could happen for an early Tuesday morning, was to find out Seth had had already gotten a new 'girlfriend'. He introduced me to her and to say that I wasn't impressed would be putting it nicely. She was the typical blonde haired, blue eyed, anorexic looking b***h. She had latched onto his arm, pressing her disgustingly generous bosom onto his bicep. The stupid giggle that escaped her overly painted lips at every little thing he says was making me sick. I have known Seth all my life, I love him, but he doesn't have a single funny bone in his body. Not to mention the disdainful look she kept shooting me before turning to look at him, biting her bottom lip, trying to look seductive. Trisha had him wrapped around her finger already. It wasn't just him, I noticed how Paige and Sage would get this far away look in their eyes when she started talking to them. She didn't even pay attention to me when she realized that she had them. I can't believe that she is a freshman. I gave up on them and decided to visit Dawn. I kept asking around until I found her in the library. She was in the History section reading a thick brown text on Russia. "Is your nose always in a book my dear?" I asked, smiling. It looked like she jumped to about two feet in the air when she heard my voice. I laughed slightly at the expression on her face. When she completely recognized me, she gave me a shy smile. "You startled me you meany!" She said in a whinny voice. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I apologized. Her smile grew more confident as we continued to get to know each other. She was the eldest of three children, her twin brothers were in their last year of middle school. Her dream was to become a neurosurgeon and when I asked about her sexuality, she said that she was pansexual. Before we could continue our conversation, a shadow fell over our table. When I looked up, I saw Sebastian smirking down at us. "Hi there Ezra and nerd girl." He said cheerfully. A scowl made its way on my face and I saw Dawn shoot him a glare. He took one look at us before he raised his hands in defense. "I just want us to be friends, you don't need to be so hostile." He said sitting down next to us. We regarded him for a second before we smile at him. But then it hit me, and I just had to ask. "Friends? I thought you liked me?" "I did until I realized that you liked someone else and I gave up. That added to the fact that I have caught sight of a really cute but super sexy Science geek." He said, shocking me. "How did you know?!" I whisper yelled when I heard Dawn gasp. "Really! Who is it?!" She yelled earning the librarian's glare. "Are you gonna tell her, or do you want me to?" Sebastian asked smirking again. I pouted, but as I looked into her pleading puppy eyes- is this how Seth feels? I conceded. I leaned forward and cupped her ear. "It's Seth." I whispered, blushing. She squealed, which got us kicked out of the library, but she didn't seem to care. Apparently, even to the people who came here yesterday, Seth was a big thing. As she recited what she had learned from gossip, she felt bad for because she knew he was straight. That little titbit put a damper on the whole mood of the conversation. I followed them to their lockers to collect their books and as we rounded the corner to go to mine, I saw Paige, Sage and Seth leaning on the lockers close to mine glaring at the ground. The three of us walked calmly with them at my back and when the brooding idiots heard the clicking of my heels, they raised their heads. "Ezra, Princess, where have you been?! We were so worried!" Paige exclaimed as he ran up to me and picked me up in his bear hug. "I was in the library. Gosh! Stop being so over dramatic!" "But- but" Sage started but Seth cut him off. "What were you doing with him?" He asked as he pointedly glared over my shoulder. "We were getting to know each other Seth. He was actually paying attention to me this morning!" I shouted. He looked confused at my tone of voice, but I gathered my books quickly, grabbed Dawn's hand dragged her to her first period English class. Once there I kissed her on both cheeks and gave her a hug just as the bell rang. "I'll see you at lunch." I said as I ran to my Math class. I have this class with Paige, Sage and Seth so it wasn't so surprising that when I entered the room, three pairs of eyes were locked onto me as I made it to my seat. They didn't speak, just stared at me from their respective seats. Like always, Seth was on my right, Paige behind me and Sage on my left. They had decided on this to be 'closer' together in every possible class. People were looking at us strangely but stopped as soon as Seth glared at them. Our teacher, Mr. Munro, sauntered in after the late bell and let me tell you, the man had a hideous beer belly and had the guts to flirt with anything pretty. I couldn't concentrate during the class because of them but it gave me time to get the courage to give them the cold shoulder. As soon as the bell rang, I was out of my seat and speed walking to the door where I saw Sebastian waiting. They called my name multiple times, but I ignored them as I latched onto his arm, much like Trisha, and started dragging him to my next class. "They look ready to kill me." He whispered in my ear, adding to the 'lovers' effect. I faked a loud giggle and said, "You reap what you sow Sebby." "A pet name! We are so far in this relationship already dear!" He gasped playfully. We laughed together as we made plans for lunch with Dawn. A shiver ran down my spine and I turned my and saw Seth staring intensely at me. I narrowed my eyes, flipped my hair and turned around, paying no mind even if the sad look in his eyes made me feel guilty. When lunch came, and I had purchased my food I saw the guys sitting at our usual table and watching me intently. I was about to head over there until Trisha waddled her way over and plopped her butt in Seth's lap. I regained my scowl and my eyes wandered to the other tables where I saw Dawn sitting by herself, eating bits of her food while reading a book. I smiled and walked over to her. "Hey there Day, you enjoying your lunch?" "I whispered close to her ear, making her jump. "Why do you insist on startling me all the time." "Only because you're fun to tease Dawn." Sebastian said as he slid in opposite us. "That doesn't mean you guys have to do it!" She complained. I smiled as they continued bickering over random things until I hear a retched giggling sound. I didn't have to turn around to know that the vocal offense belonged to the slut, I mean Trisha. I excused myself and went into the boy's bathroom, you know since I still have my manly bits. I cupped my hands under the water and splashed against my face to try and cool my burning anger and jealousy. I looked up as I heard the open and cloths and saw Seth watching me from the mirror. "Why are you angry?" He asked simply. "I'm not angry." I lied. "Then why are you with those two and not us?" "I don't like your whores." "She's not a w***e. " "We're entitled to our opinions." "She's not my whore." He repeated. "Has she spread her legs for you already?" I asked as I dried my face and straightened my cloths. "Yes." He said through clenched teeth. "She's your whore." I affirmed as I turned to him with a smile on my red lips. I side stepped him and slowly walked back to the cafeteria to find Sebastian and Dawn in a heated discussion about which anime was better: Bleach or One Piece. "Bleach has a whacked-out story line whereas One Piece goes with the flow of the manga itself!" That was Dawn. "At least the main character isn't a complete i***t!" Sebastian yelled. As I sat, they yelled, "Ezra, what do you think?!" "Um... I have to agree with Dawn on this one Sebby." I said after I pretended to think about it. Sebastian groaned just as the bell rang and we went separate ways to our classes. I went straight to the gym for my Physical Education class where I entered the locker room to be greeted by half naked guys. I may be in love but that doesn't mean I can't look. Although I wasn't speaking to them Sage, Seth and Paige surrounded me as I changed into my school gym shorts and T-shirt. I used a wet wipe to remove my lipstick and the only other makeup I usually wear, guy-liner. I passed them without saying a word as I finished and made my way to the bleachers. According to Coach, today we were playing Volleyball. Something that I'm good at. The game was fierce and when it was time for my team, we were put against the team that Trisha was on. My inner devilish b***h came out and every chance I got, the ball hit all over her pathetic body. The last hit I got in made blood flow from her nose. She had to go to the nurse, so Coach dismissed us, and we went to the showers. "This is Halloween, this is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween. In this town, we call home, everyone hail to the pumpkin song." I sang as I scrubbed the sweat from skin, I just love that movie! I heard the curtain of my shower being pulled but didn't freak out because only three people would interfere with me. "You did that on purpose." Seth stated making my heart race as he took a step inside to block my escape. "I don't know what you're talking about Seth." I said as I continued scrubbing. "..." "Oh!... um, I wouldn't need a ride today, Sebastian's taking me home." I said as I bent to scrub my legs. He didn't reply for a while before he murmured, "Okay, see you later." I straightened, and he silently left. I leisurely finished my shower, dressed and walked to Mrs. Spencer's class for Biology. Sebastian was there, and I told him about what I did excluding the 'shower' scene. He laughed but scolded me for losing control. I almost forgot to ask for the ride I got it, nonetheless. The class itself was interesting. ******* Sebastian had already moved in on his guy and Jeremiah was with us in the car. He was a nice guy and I could easily relate to him. I was to be dropped off first so when we arrived at my house it was funny to see they hung jaw reactions. "You live here?" Jeremiah said with awe. I nodded my head. It wasn't that it was grand, it was that it was so normal. Seth's and my parents believe in humility and have made our lives as normal as multi-billionaires could get. I saw him focus on something behind me and then looked at me. "He's watching us." When I went to look, he grabbed my face. He turned his face to Jeremiah and said, "I really like you Jer, but Ezra's going through an unrequited love and I want to make that love jealous. So, I am asking for your permission to stick my tongue down his throat." Jeremiah blushed but nodded and Sebastian crashed his lips onto mine. He moved his tongue around my mouth for a few seconds before he let me go. He smirked at my flushed face that turned to Jeremiah with a smile. "Let's go to my house so that I could finally suck on your tongue babe." He said which made the poor boy blush harder. They drove off and I finally turned to see Seth standing by my door with an unreadable expression on his face. Taking small steps, I came face to face with him. "What?" He said nothing while observing my slightly pink cheeks. We stayed like that for a few seconds before he suddenly pinned me to the front door. I gasped on impact and stared up at him in shock. "What's going on between the two you?" He asked harshly. "Why does it matter to you?" I asked. He stared at me intensely before he went to open his mouth to speak. "Seth what's taking so long?!" Trisha said as she poked her head out from his front door. I know he was going to say something important but as soon as heard that voice I pushed him away from me and went inside of my house, him on the porch. I ran up the stairs and to my room. I threw myself onto my bed, hugged my pillow and cried. I cried until I was sure that I was about to pass out. I got up and took a shower. I played on my bed naked and finally allowed my eyes to close. It hurts.
