I stepped out of the pack's administrative building with Willow walking beside me. The moonlight was faint, and the breeze carried a hint of rain.
"You look exhausted," Willow said, glancing at me with concern. Her wolf leaned forward in her eyes, sensing my tense state.
Before I could respond, I noticed them. Four Pack Enforcement officers approached swiftly, their postures rigid, their wolves on high alert.
"Beta Elina." The stern tone of the lead officer made Willow reflexively step closer to me. "You need to come with us to the Pack Justice Hall. Right now."
