Lucien I waited not one, but two more days upon Mama’s insistence. She had been right. My power had only grown. I could feel it coursing through me. I felt alive, charged by the strength that ran through my body. When I rose in the morning, I knew it was the day. Asha and Arum had arrived the day before. I was glad. They could witness the rise of greatness.
