Pilot:The girl
It was a normal Tuesday morning, and all was calm and quiet. Until a annoying alarm clock woke Ava up. Ava groaned while she snoozed the alarm clock. She stayed in bed for a moment and stared at the ceiling. Suddenly Jay, her bodyguard knocks on the door and telling her behind the close door that she must get ready for school and come downstairs for breakfast. Ava groans again, but this time in annoyance. Jay opens the door, and he looked down at Ava with a annoyed look. Ava just glares up at him, and she says to him, "Get out!". Jay glares back down at her and he shakes his head. Ava flips him off, Jay looks at her in a angry way. Ava rolls her eyes at him. Jay says in a deep husky voice, "You're being disrespectful, young lady. Get up and get ready for school dammit!". Ava rolled her eyes again and she said, "Whatever". Jay storms to her bedside, he yanks her up by the collar. "Ow!" she yelps. He quickly loosens his grip on her and he apologises. "Fine, I'll get up." she says as she stands up. Jay just nods while walking away. After a few minutes, she got dressed and went down downstairs. Jay smiles while saying "Is that your new school uniform?". Ava looks down at her new school uniform on her, "Yeah it is! What do you think?" she says. "It looks awesome!", Jay says while patting her head. "Oh my Irene! I'm going to be late for school!", Ava said. Jay and Ava walked to the car. It only took a few minutes for them to reach Ava's high school. The day actually went well for Ava until she got in a fight with a girl called Britney, she really hates. "What's your problem, b***h?!", Ava yelled. "I just don't like how you look, fugly dwarf!", Britney barked. The two girls got in a huge fight and they got sent to the principal's office and their parents got called. Unfortunately, Ava lost her parents when she was young, so they called her older brother, Michael in. He was really pissed off that Ava got into another fight. This was the fifth time this month Ava got into a fight. And Michael was always the one to sort it out. He got tired of it a lot. Sometimes he wanted to kick Ava to the curf, but then he remembers a 16 year old girl can't look after herself without supervision, especially if the 16 year old girl is Ava, a chaos freak, if you ask everyone. The drive home was quiet, too quiet. "Are you mad, big brother?", Ava suddenly asked. "No, just disappointed.", Michael said. Ava always thought of herself as a disappointment. When they arrived home, Jay was already waiting for Ava. "Didn't I tell you to not get into another fight, young lady?!", Jay exclaimed. Ava looks down, "yeah, ya did", she hesitates and she looks up with anger in her eyes, "But that damn b***h started it!", Ava shouted. Michael steps up and slaps Ava through her face, Ava was caught surprised. "How many times have I told you, to mind your own damn business!? You could've ignored her! But, no! You had to start a fight with her! Hadn't you?! You're the reason the family's name is getting dragged in the mud!, Michael barked loudly. Ava looked away with shame, she slowly began to cry and then she ran into the house. "You were to hard on her, Michael!", Jay said. "I only putted her in her place", Michael explained. Jay frowns angrily, "You were still to hard on her, she's just a kid. You know, she's emotional." Michael glared at Jay. "She may still be a kid, but she needs to learn some damn manners. And emotions get you nowhere.", Michael said. Jay glared back at Michael. Jay and Michael never saw eye-to-eye. They both cared about Ava, but both in different ways. Despite the two's difference, they loved Ava for who she was and that was all what mattered.
