Chapter Ten - Dr. Plastic

1035 Words
Jason Jason closed the on-call room door behind him and locked it. Brushing his blonde hair out of his face he turned back to the third shift nurse. Sure he could be sleeping, but sometimes other needs out weighed sleep. The flavor of the evening was blonde haired and blue eyed, his preference ever since his last girlfriend broke up with him. She was a classic beauty, his ex. She was also a hundred percent real, no additives, no fake breasts. Yeah sure most people would think he preferred that type of woman, fake breasts and implants given his choice of work. However for him that was far from the truth. “Dr. Keyes, are you ever going to come over here,” the nurse beckoned to him, pouting her ample lips. He walked up to her then and started kissing her, why make her wait he supposed. While he kissed her, working her lips over, he started to slip her scrub shirt over her head. He tossed it aside, continuing to glide his hands around to the clasp on her bra, not really paying attention to what it even looked like. In this moment he could not afford a distraction especially since decidedly this nurse had obviously had a boob job at some point. He didn’t want to ruin the moment. She let her bra fall to the floor, he started to push her towards the bunk, deepening their kiss as they went. He could feel himself growing under his scrub pants. He slid his hands down her back, enjoying the little arch in her back as he did. He put his hands on her ass and paused…this was not going to work for him. He could feel how lumpy her ass was, a clear marker of a botched booty job or implant. Just then his pager started buzzing. That worked out well, he had to go answer a page and he didn’t have to hurt the nurses feelings about her botched surgeries. He pulled away from the nurse to answer the page. He looked down at the pager, “Oh, no I got to take this.” She tried to pull him back to her, he gently backed away. “I really need to take this, seems like the pit may be pretty busy too. You may want to get down there before you get in trouble.” She shrugged, “No problem, we will meet up later.” she said with a smile. He turned and left the room while she put her bra and scrub top back on. He headed towards the source of his page, it seemed like they were looking for a surgical consult and he was eager to get away from the nurse. He paged his intern, some eager looking jackass that may make a good surgeon some day if he applied himself right. As he entered the emergency room, there was the usual flutter of activity and a little extra drama from what looked to be a car accident coming in. He was probably called to suture some artificial wounds and cuts, his intern could take care of all that as far as he was concerned. Once he saw the consult and set his intern to task, he would go back up to his office and work on finalizing the paperwork for his transfer. He grinned, he had heard a little bird talking about the intern coming back to the very same hospital he knew Drew worked at and continuing her schooling. He wanted to make sure he was there for it and maybe a bit more if he could ever convince her to take him back that is. He was pretty hopeful in that area, he wasn’t an ugly man by any means and was confident in his charms. He walked into the bay where the patient was waiting with a nurse nearby, “what do we have here?” The nurse perked up as he entered and batted her eyes his way, “patient got cut across the forehead and just some minor cuts and scrapes on their arms and legs from the accident.” He practically rolled his eyes, yeah his charms were good. He pulled over a rolling stool and sat down to examine the patient, the cut across his forehead would need several stitches and the rest was just a clean and bandage. He reassured the patient as he paged his intern again and explained that once his intern got there they would get him patched up in no time. Jason stood just as his intern came in. “About time, Mr. Jones needs some stitches in the cut on his forehead and the cuts on his arms and legs just need to be cleaned and bandaged.” He turned towards the patient again, “Don’t worry Mr. Jones you are in good hands.” “Thank Doctor,” the man said as Jason moved away and started towards the bay of elevators. He was going to go up to his office and finish his paperwork. The sooner he got it taken care of the sooner he would be at the same hospital as Drew and his longtime friend Dr. Hart. Jason almost chuckled at the last name. He and Sebastian had never been friends, but he did wonder if the man would come in his way when he tried to get Drew back. Several weeks later, Jason found himself standing in front of Mercy Heart Hospital in Chicago, the sound of the city enveloping him as he contemplated the building while he took a sip from his Starbucks coffee. It was time to make Chicago beautiful and annoy his old rival Sebastian Hart while he was at it. He grinned, winning his ex-girlfriend back would just be a bonus and he knew she wouldn’t be able to avoid him if she got placed on his service as a new intern either. He felt pretty confident today, it was a good day. He started walking up to the building, knowing he had a meeting with the chief of medicine that morning and shortly after would be introduced to the chief of surgery.
