In a world where memories take the form of leaves on a mystical tree, a young girl named Lily discovers she has the ability to communicate with the tree. As the seasons change, Lily watches as memories from her own life and those of her loved ones begin to wither and fall.

When a harsh winter arrives, the tree is left with only one leaf – a symbol of Lily's last memory of her deceased mother. As the chilling breeze threatens to blow the leaf away, Lily must find a way to preserve the memory and keep her connection to her mother alive.

Lily wandered through the forest, her feet crunching on the dry underbrush. She had always loved this place, where the trees seemed to whisper secrets to each other in the wind. As she walked, she noticed a faint glow emanating from a nearby clearing. Curious, she made her way towards the light. In the center of the clearing stood an enormous tree, its branches twisted and gnarled with age. The tree seemed to be... shimmering, as if its very essence was infused with a soft, ethereal light. Lily felt a shiver run down her spine as she approached the tree. She had never seen anything like this before. As she drew closer, she noticed that the tree's branches were adorned with leaves – but not just any leaves. These leaves seemed to be made of a delicate, iridescent material that refracted the light and sent tiny rainbows dancing across the forest floor. Lily reached out a hand to touch one of the leaves, and as she did, she felt a sudden jolt of recognition. These leaves, she realized, were memories. Each one represented a moment in time, a snapshot of a person's experience. Lily's eyes widened as she scanned the branches, taking in the sheer number of leaves. There were so many memories here – happy ones, sad ones, moments of joy and moments of sorrow. And then, she saw it. A single leaf, clinging to the end of a branch. It was the last leaf, the final memory on the tree. Lily felt a pang of sadness as she reached out to touch it. This leaf, she knew, represented the last memory of her mother, who had passed away when Lily was just a child.
