Visiting Old Friends
It was Friday night and our little house was full. I was always amazed how quickly the word gets out that the neighborhood was having a party and everyone was welcome.
Luckily we have two floors and although the house isn’t that big by today’s standards, it works well for parties. We had people playing board games in the kitchen on the big table, and there was a conversation pit developing in the front room. In the guest bedroom we had a couple of the kids playing a game on my laptop. I shuddered at the thought of it being used for this purpose, but this was all for a good cause. I needed more clues.
Downstairs in the family room, we had the large television playing a movie. We have a great selection of DVDs since Tom and I both loved our movies. Right now there
