Pictures from the Past
We decided to go back to my house in order to complete our notes and go over questions we still had to get answers to.
“Wait a minute,” called Catherine from her open front door before we started to walk away. “Peter had a younger brother named Arnold; he lived here too. What about him? Have you spoken to him?” asked Catherine as she came down the front stairs, then along the sidewalk to where we were standing.
Joy and I looked at her, surprised by the unexpected new information.
“Catherine let’s go back inside. You’re going to catch cold in this weather without a coat on,” I suggested since she was only wearing her light sweater.
“Oh, yes.” As if on cue, she started to shiver. She wrapped her arms around her body in an effort to keep warm.
