13 A meeting of minds I limped out of the ladies washroom and knew I had to take something for the pain and the swelling in my knee and shoulder. “Heather, sit down,” Joy said, her voice edged with concern, handing me a water bottle. “Here, I have something that will help.” She handed me two Tylenol tablets. I accepted the pills and the water and quickly downed them both and then sat down across from her. “What happened?” Her concern knitted Joy’s eyebrows and wrinkled her forehead. I shook my head. We had to talk, but I didn’t want to be overheard.
