Colt ran to get the physician as Mordecai carried her to the bedroom, everything happened so fast, doctors and nurses rush to Marri's side.
Mordecai became more worried when the nurses had Marri moved to the infirmary.
Nearly six hours later, there was still no word Melody was nervous and scared for her daughter, Mordecai stayed quiet but everyone could see his fear, Colt paced the floors anxiously this wasn't something he wanted to witness but needed to support his brother.
"That's it, I'm going in to see what is taking so long" Mordecai shouts
As his hand touched the door handle a nurse pushed it open, standing back Mordecai, Colt, and Melody waiting nervously for the nurse to talk.
"She is out of surgery and is resting everything went well, we had some minor complications otherwise everything else went good."
"My boys!" Mordecai hearing a crack in his voice
"Come with me" the nurse instructed him to go through the double doors.
Mordecai Pov:
As the nurse ushered me to my son's I had no idea what to expect. I felt butterflies in my stomach, my heart was going to jump out of my chest, sweating palms had a lump in my throat.
The whole five-minute walk to the room felt like an eternity.
The closers I got to them the louder my heart pounded, walking into the room I see two blue bundles together in a cradle.
The nurse picked up one and handed him to me seeing my son his black hair, gold eyes, blush color skin barely visible horns.
So small I could hold him with one hand.
This one had wings, horns, and a tail, our other son didn't, he had most of Marri's features he looked almost human other than the red skin and dog ears.
Holding them both I felt a tear run down my cheek.
"Sire, we need names for them," the nurse said bringing me out of my thoughts
"This one is Coal Axel Creed," I said handing her the one that looked like me
"This one is Caine Theo Creed," I said handing her the one that looked like Marri.
Marri's pov:
I wake up sore and scared, wasn't able to talk felt like I had a mouth full of sand.
The room was all white and bright, looking around seeing my belly was gone I started to panic.
Where are my babies?
Where am I?
What happened?
It took a few minutes to remember I passed out after my water broke, I tried to sit up but I couldn't feel anything.
Laying there silently crying for what felt like eternity unsure when anyone would come to see me.
"Oh, your majesty you're awake," the nurse said coming closer to me checking my vitals and giving me water
"Where... where are my babies?" I whispered with tears
"Oh, sweetie; don't cry, they’re perfect right in the next room with Sire." The nurse said wiping the tears from my eyes
"Why can't I move?" I say as the nurse finished checking my vitals and hooking the machines
"We are going to start moving you. You had a difficult delivery, most likely the medicine is still in your system. Unfortunately, we can't let you hold the babies until you’re sitting up, but for now, we can show you pictures" She explained every else about my surgery while showing me pictures of Coal and Caine, I was in complete awe that my boys are so beautiful.
Caine looked so much like I and Coal would pass as a second Mordecai.
The nurse taped the pictures to the TV, she sat my bed up so I could see them.
There were pictures of them without their blankets Coal's wings fully expand and tail visible so adorable, Cola also had Mordecai's gold eyes.
Caine with all his colors and those eyes they had up-close pictures of them Caine had silver eyes like me.
There was no lie that they had the Creed blood, after almost an hour had passed and I was able to move my body from the waist up. Pushing the nurse button frantically, when the nurse fan in scared and worried "Your majesty are you hurt"
"No, I can move, I want to see my boys now," I said nearing falling out of the bed
"Yes ma'am" She smiles leaving the room.
Mordecai Pov:
I stayed holding them off and on when the nurse came in, she began to check their weight, height, and head size. Their leg and arm movement after writing everything she checked Coal's wings and tail, then Caine's skin tone and ear function.
"Sire, do you have any questions," She asked while writing
"No"
"OK so I need you to leave so we can circumcise them." She says
Walking out of the room, I shake my head I honestly didn't want to see that. In the waiting room, I see Colt, Melody, I had completely forgotten about them.
"What happened?" Melody says frantically
I couldn't do anything but hand them the pictures. Colt look over the pictures crying, something has been off with him lately.
Melody nearly passed out, she sat on the chair whimpering.
"Is she ok?"
"She is recovering, by tomorrow she should be fully healed," I say quietly sitting down relaxing for a moment.
"That's good, has she held them yet? Have you seen her yet?" Melody says nervously
"I don't know, but they made me leave so they could snip their tips," I scrunched my face at that,
"Ewww," Colts says looking at the pictures perplexed
"Well I'm going to Marri, she must be so scared!" Melody says leaving to make her way to Marri's room
Moments later as Melody enters the room seeing Marri sitting up and watching tv.
"Sweetheart" Melody says walking over to her bedside. Sitting on the edge of the bed
Marri starts crying "They're so adorable but why won't anyone let me see them."
"Oh, sweetie you don't want them right now Dr's are snipping their manhood." Melody giggles trying to ease her crying.
"But I want to see them getting their first cut." Marri whimpers
"Honey!" Melody laughs at Marri's emotional rollercoaster.
"Baby blues are in full swing" Melody giggles
"What is the baby blues?" Marri whispered
"I'm surprised you didn't have it with Tabby, but It's when your body and mind make a dramatic change. It will be okay, waiting to hold them is the longest." Melody explains holding her and rocking back and forth.
After what seemed to be an eternity the nurse and Mordecai brought in the rolling cribs, Marri instantly knew Caine and Coal were here.
"My boys!" Marri whimpers
Mordecai walks over to Marri kissing her on the forehead and said "Thank you"
The rest of the day passed with laughter and celebrating as Colt and Jack came marking the boys and arrange their party of arrival.
