Mordecai:
"Colt!" I couldn't understand why my heart felt like it was going to explode.
It hurt to the point that if I moved it would just stop.
"How are you feeling?" we are so close, but yet so far away at the same time.
He's worried about me, and it doesn't help when my marriage is failing because of my stupid temper.
Yet he's hiding the truth behind him and Lucy.
"How the f**k do you think I feel, My wife has feelings for an Angel and she tried to sleep with him in My castle." I barked knowing deep down it wasn't true, Kyle played it out to get a rise out of me.
"She wasn't going to sleep with him_"
"No, just let him f**k her real quick then leave like the last time." Mordecai wouldn't let Colt finish his sentence.
"Mordecai; think about it," Colt shouted making everyone look up...
"He was her first love, nothing can change the past but you can fix the future. You nearly killed Your wife because of a high school fling." Colt says trying to find reason in my actions.
"So, cause I'm a demon I'm not supposed to have feelings." his eyes went soft for a second, no doubt searching for the right words.
No way a Demon could actually love someone... Our parents have never said the words, we often hide from their fights as children.
"You just need to trust Marri," Colt says
Meanwhile: (Angel's Landen)
Amgrace was attending her roses when she saw a surge light and a terrible beating and bloody Kyle walking to her, collapsing in her arms,
"Nicho" she screamed, crying holding her son fearing for his life.
King and other Angels rush Kyle to the infirmary (Angels can only heal themselves if its minimum damage)
"Kyle, baby stay with us," Amgrace says as the doctor whisk him away, King Nicho holds her as she cries knowing he had to tell her.
"Gracie girl we need to talk." He whispers
"Can it wait "
"No, you need to know," he says holding her arms looking into her eyes fighting back tears.
Amgrace nods as they walk to the cafe to get coffee.
"Do you remember Marri? The girl Kyle was in love with," he starts with something he knows she would remember
"Marri the human girl he gave his virtue to," She says staring down into her cup
"Yes, well she is the mother of his child"
"WHAT? WHY WASN'T I TOLD?" Amgrace snapped making thunder roll
"We need to go see her, I want to meet this girl and my grandchild," Amgrace says getting ready to stand when King Nicho stopped her saying
"You can't this was an act of war between Demons and Angels"
"What's that got to do with her, she's _"
"She's married to Mordecai" he whispers
Amgrace sat down in shock unable to speak staring at the floor for a minute
"She is married to Mordecai, they just had twin princes six months ago" King Nicho speaks knowing this information was going to hurt her.
"Mordecai married HA... that's funny, he would never" She snapped
"Amgrace," he says holding her hands, she immediately gasped as her eyes filled with tears.
"I can't believe all this," she stood pacing the floor hiding sadness
"The council awarded Mordecai... They seem to be happy together."
"But..."
"Joyce and Tuby did well raising him." King Nicho hugged Amgrace reassuring her that her high school love was indeed happy.
"I really hate the council, they really know how to mess with people's emotions, how is Colt lately?" Amgrace shuddered remembering the time she spent with Tuby before she was forced apart by the Council.
"He's good, sores say he's been running from the council, they are trying to push him to wed a Vampire." King Nicho shook his head smiling because he knows that Colt and Lucy had been hiding from the Council and the Creed family.
Melody has been trying to keep Lucy on a tight leash, but with Marri's situation, she's found some loopholes.
"Lucy and Colt wed at the Civil Hall last night..."
