Tangled Fate: Prologue
"GO!!! Go somewhere far away from here and take him to a safe place. Live normally, and forget all the things that have happened here. Let him experience the natural way of life." He said as he pushed her away from the palace.
"How about you? I can't leave you here alone! Not now, please, we can solve this one together just like the others. " Her voice broke and started crying.
"It's a different situation now, it must be stopped and I'm the only one who can do it. Please do understand. " He said, comforting his princess.
"Why you? Of all species living on Earth, why you? I know you're the prince, but why all of a sudden? I just can't. " Her tears fell.
"That's what fate gave to me. I know it's hard for us two, but maybe we'll be together in our next life. I promise I will look for you, take care of you, keep you safe and be healthy for our baby boy. " He smiled after saying those comforting words.
"I'll stay with you, let's fight together, we're partners, right? " She insisted to stay beside him.
"NO! I'm afraid I might lose you. I have already lost mom and my younger sister, I can't let that happen to you and to my son. " He's worried sick.
"I'm also afraid I might lose the reason for my existence here. " She said, crying again.
"Don't worry, I'll be safe, I will look for you after the war, even if you're on the other side of the globe, just be safe and be strong, you are the one who gives me courage. " He made eye-eye contact to persuade his wife to leave.
"Promise me. " She couldn't look into his eyes.
"I promise. Promise me you'll be safe, strong, and healthy and live a normal life without me. " He said as he came closer.
"I pro-promise. "
He kissed her for the last time and hugged each other before they went their separate ways.
"Goodbye, for now, keep safe. " He waved his hand and took a glance to remember every detail of his wife.
"Yes, you too, look for me as soon as this ends. " She mounted to a small boat near the riverbank.
She's looking in her husband's direction as he walks away and disappears. She tears again, remembering their happy moments together without obstacles for a short time.
A few moments later, she heard an explosion. She saw fire and smoke in the forest where she last saw her husband. Before she closed her eyes, she heard a loud scream and cried again.
