LAYLA'S POV

I woke up this morning with a big headache it's all because of yesterday's events. Mattie finally knows what happened in California and to say that he's furious is an understatement, I'm so lucky and grateful to have an older brother like him.

Matt started to stir and after a while he opened his eyes "Good morning Bri how are you feeling?" asked Mattie in a sleepy voice.

"Good morning Mattie, other than this killer headache, I'm fine and you?" I answered with a yawn.

"I'm okay thanks, lets get you some breakfast and then you can take something for the pain" replied Matt seriously.

Before I could say or do anything else, Matt got up and went to the bathroom. I layed back down for another five minutes with the bblankets pulled over my face.

"Bri come on get up and take a shower" said Matt as he shooked me awake. I haven't even realized that I have fallen back asleeped.

"Mmhh okay, okay I'm up" I said in a sleepy voice.

"Bri listen to me you have fifteen minutes to get ready, and then we'll go to the gym" said Matthew seriously.

"Okay Mattie, I'll be done in fifteen minutes".

I took a quick shower and put on my gym clothes, a purple gym bra with black and purple training pants, I paired it with my white and black trainers and to make sure that my body is properly covered, I've decided to put on my purple sweatshirt.

Fifteen minutes later and I'm done, I walked into the kitchen.

"Jeesh Bri, it's going to rain or snow in the middle of summer, you literally kept to your time" said Matthew surprisingly.

I glared at Matthew and then I gave him an innocent smile and said "Of course Mattie, I said I'd be done in fifteen minutes, haven't I?".

Mattie's eyes widened and he swallowed hard "I didn't think that you'd keeped to fifteen minutes" muttered Mattie.

"What was that Mattie, did you say something?" I asked innocently.

"No, no I didn't say anything".

"Okay".

We quickly ate a bowl of porridge, we swallowed it down with a cup of coffee, after we're done we hopped into Matt's Ford Ranger and drove to the gym.

"Bri, I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you like an older brother should have been" the c***k in Mattie's voice got my eyes watering.

"Mattie listen carefully to your baby sister, you are the best big brother a girl could have, I know you would protected me with your life and for that I am immensely grateful. It's not your fault and you were still young yourself".

"But still Bri I should have visited you guys more and I shouldn't have cared if dad agreed or not".

"Oh Mattie it's over, it happened,I try to forget about it every day and with time it will get better and wouldn't bother me so much. Let's just leave it in the past I want to move on from it once and for all"

"Bri I'm terribly sorry, it's going to take time for me, I hope you can forgive me" cried Matthew.

"Sshh Mattie, don't cry there's nothing to forgive you for, it's not your fault I'm okay" I replied with a small smile as I consoled him.

"Okay, from now on Bri I'm here to protect you" said Mattie with determination.

"Thank you Mattie, you are the best big brother ever" replied I with a small smile.

"I love you little sis".

"I love you too big brother".

"Okay, okay enough of this serious conversations, let's go and enjoy ourselves in the gym" said Matthew with excitement.

"Uugg you mean you're going to enjoy yourself while you torture me" replied I with a grimace.

Matthew glanced at me and started laughing. "Bri your facial expression is priceless".

"It's not funny Mattie, you're going to enjoy it a lot, I just know it" I moaned.

"I won't torture you Bri but I will definitely train you hard" said Mattie seriously.

"Thank you Mattie" replied I with gratitude.

Twenty minutes later we stopped at the boxing gym. I was very excited but anxious at the same time, Mattie noticed it immediately.

"Calm down Bri it's going to be okay, it's your first lesson so I'll take it easy on you" said Matt in a soft voice.

"I know Mattie, that's not the problem, I don't know if I'm more excited or anxious" I said confused.

"I know it's a big thing for you, but I promise that I'm here for you Bri, it's not just you and mom anymore" said Mattie determined.

"I know Mattie, believe me I know" I answered warily.

"Okay, let's go and start with training".

"Okay".

We walked into the gym and chose the farthest ring to start our first session. Mattie decided that it will be better for me to start with defense and after I accomplished it I will learn how to throw a punch. I defended myself for twenty minutes while Mattie swung fists. I was sweating and started to get tired so Mattie said we could take a break.

I sat on my bum in a corner, I took out my apple and washed ot down with two bottles of water one after the other. I could hardly rest for fifteen minutes when Mattie came over and informed me that breaks over, and that we're gonna carry where we left of.

I was so engrossed in my lesson that I never noticed or realized that other people stood around the ring watching me and Mattie train.

Finally after forty minutes, we're done. I looked around at the people around the ring, my eyes stopped at a pair of deep brown eyes, there stood Aaron with an unknown emotion in his eyes. Our connection was broken when Matt spoked to me.

"Good job Bri, you did great I'm so proud of you" said Mattie with pride.

"Thank you so much Mattie, I'm gonna become an expert one of these days with a coach like you" replied I with a laugh.

Matt laughed while he shaked his head, Matt jumped of the ring and riches for my hand to assist me in getting off.

We walked over to Aaron who moved away from the ring and took a seat at one of the benches after our session was over. Mattie and Aaron had a conversation, while I just sat quietly on the benches to regain my breath and energy. I never heard Aaron speaking to me until Mattie shooked me.

"Sorry Aaron, what did you say?" I asked embarrassingly.

He stared deeply at me and said "Brianna you did good, I didn't think that you would like this tipe of thing".

I frowned and answered him "Why? Because I'm a girl, but just so you know I'm not one for shopping the whole day and get my nails done, I'd rather spend all day my extra time on action" I say offensively.

"Wow Bri, don't get so offensive, Air was just asking" said Mattie trying to avoid a fight.

"Sorry Aaron I didn't mean to attack you" I replied in shame.

Aaron just stared at me with tightly sealed lips and no emotion on his face. I told Mattie that I will take a shower to get all the sweat off my body.

I took my time in the shower, and after forty-five minutes I got out of the shower. I decided to put on my light blue denim shorts with a pink of the sholder blouse I paired it up with my white sandals. I comped my wet long blonde hair and decided to let it dry naturally, which will result into curls.

I walked out of the changing / shower rooms, over to my brother and his best friend.

Aaron was the first one to notice me. They were busy planning something when I sat down next to Mattie.

"Bri we decided to go out tonight to blow off some steam while we're having fun".

"Uumm Mattie, I think I'm just going to take it easy".

"Nope Bri you're coming with us, even if I have to throw you over my shoulders and kidnap you" said Matt with a big naughty smile and laugh.

"Okay, okay I know I'm not going to win, but be warned you're going to regret it" said I seriously.

"Shut up Bri, I know what to expect, mom already told me" replied Mattie with a proud smile.

"Uugg" I moaned with my hands over my face.

Mattie laughed hard and made further arrangements with Aaron. We decided to stop at Mc Donalds for lunch and to take it easy until it was time to get ready for "Purple Lounge".

The boys decided that we should start at 8pm, I asked Mattie if I could invite my friends, he said it's not a problem and that they should come too, so now that my friends are gonna be there, I'm really excited for our night out.

At six o'clock Mattie and I started to get ready. I decided to wear my knee length purple dress with thin straps and a sweetheart neckline, it's also full of sparkles I decided to pair it with my silver heels.

I was done and ready after an hour and a half, as I walked down, I heard a lot of different voices and a small smile appeared on my face. There in the living room stood my friends, brother and Aaron.

Chrissie was the first one to notice me, she whistled and complemented me"f**k it Bri you look hot and sexy".

I just blushed and lowered my head while many pairs of different eyes looked at me.

"Uugg Bri, how am I going to enjoy myself and keep all of the boy's away from you" asked Mattie.

"Oh Matt your not the only one, dob't forget about us and Aaron we're also here, let her enjoy herself and have some fun, she's a big girl" said Lea while she winked at me.

"Okay, okay let's go and enjoy ourselves" said Mia as she glanced at me with a dirty look.

We decided to split all of us into two cars, some of us went with Aaron while the rest of us went with Mattie.
