ROSE POV
Ever since the encounter with Adien in his office, after I revealed the truth to him, I have been expecting Mr Corner to come to the general office and ask me to pack my things and leave, but he didn’t come, there was no summon, no email, nothing. At this point, I don’t know if I should be scared or happy. I’m just walking on egg shell, or maybe Kira was right, Adien isn’t that petty to fire me because of that. I have also been staring at my phone since yesterday, not that I was expecting him to text or call but I guess I just thought he genuinely love me enough to want to fight for me. I mean who doesn’t want that.
We’ve both not seen each other since yesterday, even the general staff meeting was cancelled all of a sudden, I don’t know if I can still be professional with him after everything but what choice do I have. I really want to keep my job.
“Mrs Miles?” Mr Corner called from behind Rose
“Yes Mr Corner?”
“Mr Reanon wants to see you”
‘he wants to see me or he finally wants to end my confusion and fire me…. Why does he want to see me? Should I ask Mr Corner?’
“do you know why he wants to see me?”
“No… he just asked me to call you, why did you do anything wrong?”
“I don’t think so”
“then you shouldn’t be worried”
“of course”
We both walked into Adien’s office before he signaled Mr Corner to leave. I walked close to his desk tensed at what my fate was.
“You asked for me sir”
He looked at me before saying “Good morning Rose”
“Good morning sir” I replied while avoiding eye contact
“how was your night? Did you sleep well?”
“Yes I did sir, thank you for asking” ‘why is he asking me these questions?’
“Rose about yesterday…..”
I quickly cut him off before he could finish “Sir do you have anything you want me to do for you?” ‘I really don’t want to talk about that topic’
He sighed before handing me some documents “ I need you to sort these documents”
“ok sir” I took them before quickly turning to leave when he held my hand, stood behind me. I could feel his breathe brush my sensitive ears and his hands holding both of my elbows from behind but I refused to turn around and face him, because I knew that if I did that, ill be throwing my self control through the window and ride this man ‘what am I even thinking’.
“You forgot to also take this” he handed me the remaining document, which I quickly collected before leaving the office.
‘That was very close’
Few minutes later, I was called on again by Mr Corner to go to the CEO’s office
‘why does he want to see me this time? I haven’t finished with the documents he asked me to sort?’
I entered his office just as a few members of staff were filing out
“Sir I’m not done with the documents you asked me to sort yet”
“I know, take your time, so you won't make any mistake…”
‘why does it feel like he is coaxing a child’
“ok sir…so what else do you want me to do for you?”
“please I need you to come explain this slide you sent to me yesterday, I don’t understand a thing here”
‘What? Are you kidding me?’
“But sir I wasn’t the one who prepared it, I only did a little editing… the person you should ask for explanation should be Mrs Plama”
“But Mrs Plama isn’t available and since you edited it, you must have read and understand it properly to be able to do a good job”
“But sir everything thing is self explanatory…..”
I stopped when I saw that look in his eyes, the way his expression changed, like he was begging with his eyes--- that yearning. I totally love it, but of course giving who I am. I wasn’t going to give in that easily.
“of course sir”
And so I walked slowly towards him. No, I went behind him. He went completely stiff, like he didn’t expect me to go behind him. He sat upright, both hands at the side of his computer while I was behind him, my breast resting on his back, he was feeling the softness and I was feeling how broad his shoulders were. Then I lean forward explaining, I could literally smell his arousal even though he was trying so much to hid it, and the way he tried hiding that cute little bulge between his legs. His attempts wasn’t hiding it but making it more obvious, dude was sweating when I had only release a little pheromones, what would happen if I was to completely bath him with it. I love seeing him this way, call me fetish but I have always knew I had such weird fantasies of him. Every girl always have that time in their life when they have fantasies, but mine was kind of extreme. Maybe that way why I never had any serious relationships, or why I was kind of glad Adien rejected me, because what if he hadn’t, we get together and he realized that his omega has such filthy thoughts about an Alpha like him.
So I came back to my senses, moving away from him.
“That’s all sir, if there’s nothing else, I’ll leave sir”
‘that was intense’
I was finally done with the documents, so I went to Adien’s office to give him the files.
“Sir here are the documents”
“Thank you” ‘his voice sounds coarse’
“Then I’ll take my leave….”
“Wait Rose… please can you. No, will you go with me on a private dinner?... To talk about the project, since I came back, we haven’t had the time to talk about the progress of the project”
He was fidgeting, I could see it. For some reasons, I couldn’t summon the courage to say No because he looked so cute right now, so I just agreed. Even though I know, it wasn’t a dinner to talk about the ‘project’
