THE LUNAR'S PROPHECY
--- **EPISODE ONE** Valtira tossed and turned in her bed, the outlines of dreams dancing just beyond her reach. Sunlight streamed through the window, casting long shadows across her unmade room. The familiar sound of her sister Aurora’s voice broke the tranquility. “Valtira! Can you please wake up? We have to go back to our new house today!” Aurora yelled, her voice taut with urgency. With a groan, Valtira tried to bury her head beneath her pillow, hoping for a few more moments of blissful sleep. But dreaming was a luxury she could not afford today. A splash of cold water jolted her awake, reality crashing back down. “Okay, okay! I’m up!” Valtira snapped, throwing off her covers as she glared at Aurora, who stood by the bedside with a mischievous glint in her eye. “Good! Now hurry up! We have a lot to do!” Aurora exclaimed as she marched out of the room. Valtira dragged herself out of bed, her heart heavy. This was the third time they had moved within the year, and she was growing tired of the constant upheaval. Just when she thought she could settle somewhere, once again, they were uprooted and forced to start anew. As she began to change, the heavy thud of footsteps echoed down the hall. Valtira peered out to see several unfamiliar men unloading boxes and placing them into a moving truck. “Hey! Easy with my clothes! Do you want them to get ruined?” Valtira shouted, her frustration bubbling over. The workers, unfazed, continued moving her boxes with the precision of well-trained hands. Valtira caught Aurora giving her a reassuring smile, but the annoyance simmered within. When the parkers finally finished loading the truck, they climbed inside, Valtira’s heart still weighing her down. “Valtira, don’t worry. This will be the last time we move, I promise,” Aurora said, attempting to lift her sister’s spirits. “You always say that whenever we move,” Valtira replied, sliding on her headphones and turning her gaze to the window. Outside, the world blurred past, a kaleidoscope of colors as the city they had known faded into the distance. After hours of grueling travel, they finally arrived in Mystic Land. A name that struck Valtira as odd and mysterious, suggesting enchantment and the unknown. But she preferred to keep her thoughts to herself, the silence her refuge from Aurora’s endless optimism. Once they reached their new house, Valtira took a moment to explore the unfamiliar surroundings. The house stood tall, with ivy creeping up its walls and an air of history enveloping it. “This is it,” Aurora said, her voice filled with admiration. “Sure, if you like it,” Valtira muttered, feeling the weight of expectation settle on her shoulders. She was told they would receive new uniforms and supplies for school by evening, and the last thing she wanted was to face another social environment rife with potential heartbreak. “Valtira, you start school tomorrow. I hope you’ll be ready to make new friends! You didn’t make any in our last place,” Aurora encouraged gently. “That’s because I didn’t want to get attached knowing you’d drag us away again. It hurts too much,” Valtira whispered, averting her eyes to hide the stinging moisture threatening to spill over. Aurora sighed, “I promise this is the last time we will move. I know it feels uncertain, but sometimes you just have to trust.” With that, Valtira retreated to her new room, the boxes piled high around her like walls of isolation. Lying back on the bed, she caught glimpses of the world outside—the setting sun casting golden hues over the land, whispering secrets she was not yet ready to hear. --- **The Fairy Kingdom** Meanwhile, deep within the heart of Mystic Land, hidden from human eyes, a different story unfolded. In the lavish throne room of the Fairy Kingdom, where shimmering chandeliers hung like stars, a young fairy prince, Lyrax, stood in a heated conversation with his father, King Alaric. “Lyrax, you need to find your soulmate as soon as possible; it’s time to step into your role as heir. I’m sending you back to school,” the king insisted, his voice a commanding echo that filled every corner of the vast chamber. “But Father, I’ve already graduated from the Academy! It was a century ago! Why must I go back to that ridiculous place just to search for someone I could rule without? Love makes the strongest beings weak!” Lyrax roared, his wings quivering with anger. “Silence!” the king's booming voice silenced Lyrax, resonating within the hall like an impending storm. “My decision is final. Go back to school tomorrow, prepare yourself.” Lyrax felt his heart thundering in protest, but he had grown accustomed to the weight of his father’s expectations. “Fine, but this is going to be the most boring year of my life,” he muttered as he left the throne room, his anger trailing behind him like a shadow. As he flew away, his wings, as dark as midnight and laced with shimmering silver, glinted in the fading light. The thought of returning to school ignited a devilish smile across his face, mischievous ideas swirling within his mind. If he had to attend, he might as well have some fun at the expense of his classmates. --- *The School of Secrets** The next day dawned bright and clear, but for Valtira, the morning brought an air of dread. She pulled on her new uniform, the fabric crisp and unfamiliar against her skin. Sighing in resignation, she joined Aurora downstairs where breakfast awaited her in the bustling kitchen. “Are you ready?” Aurora beamed, her excitement palpable. “Ready as I’ll ever be,” Valtira replied half-heartedly. As they piled into the truck, her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts—hopes, fears, and an underlying sense of impending doom. Upon arriving at Mystic High, Valtira stepped out, feeling the weight of many eyes upon her. The building loomed above them, much larger and more imposing than her previous school. Students bustled about, laughter and chatter mixing into a symphony of anticipation. “Just be yourself, and you’ll be fine,” Aurora whispered as they stepped into the chaotic hall. “Look, there’s the principal!” Valtira’s attention was drawn to a woman at the front, addressing the students with a commanding presence. “Welcome, new students! Today marks the beginning of a year filled with opportunities! Embrace it and make it your own.” That didn’t sound so bad, Valtira thought, until she felt a piercing gaze burn into her from across the hall. She turned to see a boy with striking features, a figure that exuded confidence and mystery. Lyrax. There was something undeniably captivating about him. For a moment, all the noise faded into the background, and the world around them felt suspended in time. But suddenly, with a smirk, he turned his back on her, returning to his group of friends, the moment broken. “Who was that?” Valtira mumbled, her stomach twisting at the sight. “Lyrax. He’s a popular kid around here, comes from a powerful family,” Aurora explained, her eyes wide with awe. “But he’s trouble.” “Great. Just what I needed,” Valtira muttered sarcastically as they were directed to their classrooms. --- **Glimpse of the next episode***" As the days turned into weeks, Valtira struggled to adjust to her new life. The school was a maze of challenges, and the pressure of social interactions left her craving solitude. Despite her sister’s encouragement, she kept to herself, building invisible walls around her heart. Lyrax, on the other hand, seemed amused by her aloofness. His dark charms unveiled an irresistible intrigue. At first, he left her alone, but as time passed, he began to orbit her like a comet drawn to a planet, curious and magnetic. Valtira felt the heat of his gaze often, and it ignited a mix of annoyance and thrill. One afternoon, beneath the sprawling branches of an ancient oak tree, Valtira found herself sketching in her notebook. It was her escape, a sanctuary where her emotions could flow freely onto the pages. Lost in her world, she didn’t notice LyLyrax's approach until he spoke. “What’s that you’re drawing? A plan for world domination?” he teased, his voice smooth like honey. Valtira jumped, her cheeks flushing. “Just leave me alone!” she snapped, her defenses rising. “But why?” Lyrax replied, stepping closer, curiosity dancing in his eyes. “I’m intrigued.” She folded her arms defiantly. “You wouldn’t understand. You’ve never had to be the new girl—the outsider.” Lyrax studied her for a moment, a flicker of understanding crossing his face. “Try me.” His sincerity took her off guard, and for the first time, she saw beneath the layer of arrogance. Perhaps, just maybe, there was more to him than the mischievous façade he wore. “I see,” he said softly, “It’s hard to give a part of yourself when you fear losing it.” Valtira looked away, battling the swell of vulnerability rising within her. “You have no idea.” Lyrax leaned against the tree, his expression softening. “Wanna bet? I could show you a different side of this place.” Before she knew it, she blurted out, “What do you mean by that?” “Let me take you on a tour. I can show you the secrets of Mystic High,” he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “No strings attached.” And though she knew this could lead to complications she wasn’t ready for, Valtira found herself nodding, curiosity overpowering her reservations. --- Well, hope you guys liked it Stay tuned for the next episode.
