This December is a good month for the whole school. Chris and his teammates won the national championship. The school won two years ago when Logan was the quarterback, lost it when Seth was the quarterback, and now they won again with Chris. Nothing can go wrong for Chris now. He and Parker received early acceptance from Harvard, and Kate too, received it from Yale. Emma might know about her college acceptance sometimes in January or February.
Now, as Kate sits together with Chris, Parker, and Emma, listening to the two boys comforting Emma and telling her that she will know soon, Kate’s mind wonders. Chris said that this last year he would focus on three things only: getting to Harvard, winning the national football championship, and Kate. He got two out of three done with flying colors,
