'We found him, boss' Asher was sitting on the chair beside his Mom's sickbed when his phone beeped and he read through the text that had just been sent to him by Lucas.
"Is something wrong?" His Mom asked him worriedly seeing the look on his face as he stared at the screen of his phone, but he looked at her and smiled.
"No... Everything is fine,"
"Hmm," She slowly nodded.
He held her hand and squeezed it gently. No matter how gentle he was to her, to him, he wasn't doing enough. He had wronged this woman so much and nothing he did that could change that.
