Chapter 3

One week later

Anna's POV

I started to hear voices, but I could not move or open my eyes, everything was black. "Please wake up, please". That is all I heard before the voices faded away. But I was still not able to go back to my previous state, I could not hear anything, but I could feel that I was not alone. "Hope?" I asked unsurely. "I am here Anna, I am here. you need to wake up. "I do not know how to wake up, can I not just die?" "NO, you need to live, you promised me." "Alright I will try." Then everything went black again and I could not hear anything or feel, I could not even talk to Hope.

One week later

Marcus POV

She has been unconscious for two weeks now. I have not left her side. She has bruising all over her body and a lot of scars. That is what the doctor told me. I am worried and angry, who would do this to my little mate. She is mine and should be treated like a princess, not a punching back. My wolf is close to losing control, we do not even know her name. And the doctor is worried that if she does not wake up in the next week, she is not going to wake up at al. When she said that I had lost it. I had destroyed the whole room and had to be put down. I just really hope she wakes up because I do not know what I would do without her, I do not even know her name, but I do know that I cannot live without her." Please, please wake up" I keep saying.

One week later

Anna POV

I do not know how long I have been asleep. But I have started to hear more voices and I am starting to feel my body, I am in a lot of pain. I can hear shouting. I get scared and I want to know who is shouting and at who. I try to open my eyes, but it does not work, and the shouting keeps getting louder and I am getting more scared. After some time, I managed to open my eyes, but I had to close them again because of the light and I let out a small whimper because of it, the yelling stopped when I let it slip. And I feel and hear people getting near me. I open my eyes and I can see a man and a woman. I recognized the man as the man that had gotten me out from under the tree, but I did not recognize the woman. They both look at me like I am a ghost the man looks incredibly happy, but I do not know why, it makes me scared. The woman looks worried, but I do not trust anybody and I try to get away from them but as soon as I try I whimper again because everything hurts and I am attached to machines and wires and I noticed that I am in a hospital, which scares me even more because I am not allowed to be in one. The woman, I think she is a doctor or a nurse. " I am going to get the doctor; I am happy you’re awake." She said this while smiling and then walked away. She left me alone with a big and scary man. Who keeps smiling at me. I try to get away from it without hurting myself. When he noticed his smile disappeared and I stopped getting away from him, I looked down at my hands. The door opened and I looked up, a man walked in. When I saw that it was a man, I immediately looked down again. "Hello, my name is Daniel. I am the doctor that has been taking care of you for the past three weeks, on request of the alpha beside me, but I would have helped you anyway." He said smiling, I did not know how to respond to that. Why would an alpha, a handsome one, want me a fat, ugly and disgusting being like me, I am worth nothing. "We are not worth nothing!" Hope said to me, I ignored her because I knew I was right. The doctor figured I was not going to say anything else, so he continued. " I was hoping I could check you over to check your wounds and see how you are in general because you were pretty beaten up when you came here, and I want to make sure you are one-hundred per cent alright." I also did not respond to that, but I did look up and I saw him looking at the alpha with worry like he was worrying that I could not understand or hear him. And I did not want to anger anybody, so I answered him. "Y-y-yo-you c-c-can c-c-che-check m-e o-out," I said. "W-w-w-will i-i-t h-u-hurt?" I asked him. They both looked at me in shock. and the doctor answered fast that he would try his best not to hurt me but that my wounds were bad and that he did not know how far he could go without hurting me, but if I said that it hurts, he would stop immodestly. I just nodded my head. "Do you want me here or do you want me to leave?" the other man suddenly spoke, it scared me because he had a really hard voice but jet it had some kind of calming tone to it. I did not know what to say. I wanted him to stay because he had this powerful but jet calming thing about him, but his powerful aura was bigger and he was the alpha, he could do what he wanted, but somehow, I did not want him to see my scars and wounds. But I was afraid of what he would do if I said I did not want him here. He got to see the conflict in my eyes because he smiled at me. "How about I turn around so I will be here, but I will not see you and only the doctor will help you and I will not turn around until he says I can. I nodded my head because I thought that was a workable solution. He turned around and I turned my attention to the doctor. "Y-you a-a-re not g-going t-o t-t-ouch me a-a-re y-you?" He looked at me weird and then it looked like something in him clicked, and he got this said smile on his face and he kneeled in front of me. "How about I get the nurse that was just in here so she will touch you and examine you while I watch to see if you are really alright, but I will have to do two or three things myself, and if something is really bad, I also have to did, is that alright to you?" I nodded my head, it was not perfect, because I did not want anyone to touch me because women can be just as bad or even worse, but the lady seemed nice, so I agreed to it. The nurse walked in and greeted me with a smile. She explained everything she was doing, at some points the doctor had to take over because it was really bad but not so much and the nurse stayed and kept talking to me, I did not say anything back, but it was nice to have some kind of comfort for the first time in my life, and the presence of the alpha behind me. When they were done the nurse left, I was still on guard, for when they wanted something. "Now that we examined you, I can tell you that the wolfsbane is out of your system and you are slowly starting to heal again, so this means that if you keep it easy, you can get out of the hospital today or tomorrow. But first I think you need a moment with our alpha here." With that said the man turned back around and stared at me. The doctor left the room, he left me alone with the big scary man, which is also the alpha of this pack. I do not know which pack I am in; I just hope it is not a bad one and that he is nice and will not hand me back to my former pack. It felt like hours before he spoke after the doctor left, but his voice was still like heaven to me, although it had this powerful touch to it. "Hello, it is nice to finally be able to talk to you when you are awake, I am really happy you are awake. My name is Marcus Black, what is yours?" After he said that I went silent and I did not know what to say. So, he continued. " I am the alpha of this pack; my packs name is New Moon pack. I am 24 years old, and 6'7, I like to have a run with Dexter. " He told me, but I did not answer him, he scared me. The New Moon pack is the most powerful pack around and the alpha was sitting next to me trying to have a conversation with me while I was panicking and frozen and I did not know what to do or say.
