Here We meet again

Hailey's POV:

Today I am gonna meet my new boss I am a bit nervous but I am Hailey Drew and I can definitely do it. If he would be like Daise or Jus then we'll get along quite well though fingers crossed.

Thinking this I woke up no doubt Scotty came to wake me up shouting like a mad woman.

I did my morning business and got ready in a black pant with a beige top and my favorite 4 inch beige heels.

"Good Morning girls" I greeted both my besties .They are like my other family. "

"Good Morning sleeping log" they chirped in unison.

"I don't sleep that much C'mon" I pouted and they laughed.

"Ok now jokes aside what is for breakfast Mother" I said making Scotty glare at me.

" C'mon I am not aunt chelsea But sometimes I have to act one to keep you both lazy asses in check. Btw I made French toast and fresh orange juice today "Scotty said stating the obvious.

"Ohh Hailey today you are gonna meet the eldest son of Ford's right. Your new boss." Katty said curiously

"Yeah Kat I am bit actually a lot nervous. " I said

"Hailey Drew and nervous are you kidding me." Katty said amusingly

"Ok Ok now eat we are getting late." Scotty said

Then we all had our breakfast and left for office.

Office:

I went towards Mr.Ford's office and knocked on the door

Instead of an elderly voice there was a harse voice that gave me the permission to Come In .

I went inside and saw a man with brown hair his body was well sculpted I could only see his back and when he turned around shock was an understatement for me.

"You mad woman what are you doing here?" He shouted with a voice filled with venom.

"I should ask you the same question you jerk What are you doing here are you stalking me?" I said angrily.

"You b***h answer my question first how dared to slap me yesterday and dared to come in my da.." He was not even able to complete.

Then suddenly we heard clearing of throat it was none other than Mr.Ford

"Good Morning Mr.Ford who is this jerk ? " I asked cluelessly.

"God Morning Dad who is this b***h ?"

We both said in unison.

" Good Morning my sunshines I see you both have met but it seems like an unpleasant meet. Let me do the formal introductions."

He said amusingly here I am damn angry and Mr.Ford is in a pleasant mood Ohh God please safe me.

"Dear Hails this is my son Richard Andrew Ford and Son this is Hailey Drew one of my efficient employee and other daughter to me."

Mr.Ford said proudly.

"With due respect Mr.Ford I can't work with your son. Sorry to say but he insulted me without even knowing me."

I said making Mr.Ford acknowledge about his jerk of a son.

"Who wants to work with you b***h. You dared to slap me and then you are complaining with my own father." Richard said.

"Ric and Hails can we talk like two civilized people."

Mr.Ford said now with a serious authority in his voice.

I respect Mr.Ford more than I hate Richard so I nodded and took my seat.

Richard was also sitting by now. Mr.Ford took the place across us.

"Hailey dear I know he is an i***t but trust me I would never want something bad for both of you. If you ever trusted me You'll not say no. Secondly The Hails I know never backs off from her words. I am not forcing you my dear just make your own decision and let me know."

Mr.Ford said in an appealing way.

"Ok Mr.Ford can you lend me some time."

I said and left his office after seeing him nod.

After the meeting I messaged my girls to be there at our usual spot as it was an emergency and it was almost lunch time.

At the cafe:

When I reached there I saw Katty already sitting seeing me she waved.

she had a worried expression soon a minute later Scotty came and they both started giving me a questioning look like what happened.

"Now are you gonna open your mouth Hails I am dying curiousty?" asked Katty said with an annoyed look.

"And I definitely dying out of worry?" said Scotty in a bossy tone.

"Let's just order first then we'll talk."

Both nodded in agreement. I waved at the waitress seeing us she smiled and walked towards us.

"Good Afternoon ladies do I order your regulars."She said sweetly

"No Skyla I definitely need a black coffee than my regular cappuccino."

I said in a simple tone.

"Rough day I see no issues I'll be back in a jite." Skyla said.

"Now we definitely know that something is very much wrong spill your beans quickly Hails before I get irritated." Scotty said in a serious tone.

"Ok so the issue is you know today I was going to meet Richard our new boss and you also know that yesterday I slapped a jerk ."

"It can't be ironical like they both are same." She said mockingly and I nodded. They both got shocked.

"Are you sure?"Scotty said now replacing her expressions in seriousness.

"Unfortunately yes." then we heard Skyla.

"Excuse me Ladies your one black coffee two cappuccinos with chicken wings and two croissant are here." Skyla said sweetly.

"Thank you Sky." Katty said respectfully.

"Most welcome enjoy ladies." Skyla said and left.

"Let's eat till then I'll think of a solution." Scotty said seriously.

"Aye Aye captain." Scotty said seeing her chicken wings.

Scotty and I laughed.

After eating our lunch. Scotty had a satisfied smile on her face depicting she solved my problem.

"Spill the beans quickly." I said giving her a knowing look.

" Ok so basically you can't refuse Mr.Ford's request because he never asked you for a favor. He never questioned you after knowing your identity and never treated you differently after knowing about it. He scolded you like his own child and also appreciated your efforts. In short you have to oblige to him so you can't refuse his request. "

I nodded and gave her an obvious look.

"So you can sign an agreement with that jerk like you will work from this to this time. He can't force you into anything. He can't remove you for those term of 3 months and you'll handle both your positions respectively. If he does something stupid you can kick his balls."

Listening the last like Katty and I laughed . Scotty gave a devious smirk.

"This idea is soo good. "

Katty said and I nodded happily.

"Pros of having a lawyer friend."

And we all laughed.

"Okay so now inform Mr.Ford." Scotty said.

"Yes mom." I said giggling making her glare.

Then I called Mr.Ford He picked the call after 3 rings. (H for Hailey F

H-. "Hello Mr.Ford."

F-. "Hello Hails I see you have made your decision."

H-. "Yes Mr.Ford. I'll work with your son but I have some conditions. I'll bring the legal document tomorrow if you agree Mr.Ford.

F-. "Ofcourse I agree Hails. Give my regards and appreciation to Ms.Scott."

H-"How do you got to know."

F-"My hair has not turned white like that ."

We both laughed.

F- See you tomorrow dear."

Call ended.

"Well done Ms.Scott." I said amusingly.

"He got to know that it was Scotty's idea."

Katty said and I nodded.

"No doubt he is the brain behind the success of his company. "

Scotty said seeming impressed.

"Oh I forgot I'll be late tonight.

Katty said.

"Another blind date by your mom."

Scotty said making Katty nod.

"Unfortunately yes his name is Justin." Katty said sadly.

"Keep yourself away from problems don't drink that much be in your senses and call me if I have to break someones bone. " I said with a smirk on my face.

"Ok Mom. Though I don't need it. " Katty said.

"Says the one who is most wild among us." Scotty said mockingly and we shared a good laugh.

"Please make those documents by tomorrow." I said to Scotty.

"You don't have to ask girl." Scotty said assuringly.

"I can also be late I have to complete a presentation my friend bailed out on me." I said.

"Ok see you both at night ladies I have to prepare for a meeting. Katty be home before midnight and you too Msm." We both nodded.
