"Are you listening to yourself right now dad?"Edward asked his father as his face was filled with disbelief over what his father had just asked. The three sat there in the brown office -and when l say brown l mean brown mahogany desk, brown leather chairs, brown bookshelf filled with mostly books with black and brown covers,brown Bear-fur rug and brown curtain drapes with the wallpaper being the only exception was white.The office immaculately designed and styled to feel homey,well my mom did kind of decorate it and brown was her favorite colour but after she passed my father couldn't bring himself to change anything The three sat there in silence reminiscing on what there father had just said .......A Few minutes ago........ " come in'' The two walked into their dad's office and sat down next to each other while their dad was sited across from them with the desk separating them from him. "Edward,starlet l have something to tell you "John said as he thought of how to say it,, they would be angry but the situation was out of his control So he took a deep breath and looked at his two beautiful children. his first born,,Edward looked just like his wife,,the curly black hair,, the hazy blue eyes and his wife's bronze skin tone but what set him apart from his wife was the cute button nose he had that everyone admired,,he looked at his daughter, starlet, now she was an exact replica of himself,,the blonde hair,,the brown eyes ,,her pale skin ,and everything about her was him even her behavior and mannerisms. "okay dad,get on with it"starlet said. And he finally opened his mouth to speak. "You know how the Burke's and us are friends?" he didn't wait for a response before continuing " well a long time ago our company was about to go bankrupt and we were neck deep in dept, the Burke's helped us in exchange for a favour in the future and yesterday they cashed in the favour." "And how does that involve us actually, that's your problem " Edward said getting bored,he had to write another book but he needed ideas before he could write anything and this was precious time getting wasted ,in which he could use to write another bestseller.
