KKN FRIENDS

In Malaysia, Perak, Ipoh lives a group of friends. There are eight of them. They have been best friends since childhood. They are Shavina, Thivya, Stella, Pooja, Adithya, Ajay, Arjun, and Selva. These are the main characters. The friends are Malaysians and they are studying at UNIVERSITI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA (UKM). At their KKN university at the end of the year, all of the students of last year have to submit a work called Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). KKN is a job to choose a destination and find anything about flora and fauna. They chose sss Forest for their KKN. They chose this forest because they chose it because it is the largest forest in the world. It is also special because it has more than ten species that exist in the world. It is 900, 000, 000, 000 pgt/km. It’s quite an interesting place. THE STORY BAS HERE It’s 3:00 p.m. Shavina wakes up and wakes her friends. Everyone had woken up already, but Pooja said “I’m sleepy after everyone showers, then wake me”. Shavina said “nowadays you are lazy”. “Let me be” replied Pooja. Everyone was fresh and eating breakfast. Pooja woke up and walked into the dining hall. “You are all taking breakfast without me” asked Pooja to her friends. Selva replied to her “when we wake you. You didn’t want to wake up, then you questioned us”. “I was sleepy. Is that wrong if a human being sleeps” asked Pooja. Shavina said “stop fighting and go get ready. We’re getting late”. Arjun packed and arranged the bags in the car booth. On the other hand, Shavina and Thivya were making food to eat in the car if hungry while driving. “Let’s make chicken fried rice, orange juice, and a sandwich” said Shavina to Thivya. “Of course,” replied Thivya. They start their journey at 7:00 p.m. Selva drove the car and he had to drive the whole journey because in their group no one knew how to drive. The journey was fun. They played tamil songs and sang karaoke. They also talked about their funny childhood story. It’s 12:00 a.m. Selva got tired, so he stopped the car at the sight of the road. He wanted to sleep. He turned his back and his friends had already slept. Selva also already slept. It’s 1:30 a.m. An old man knocked on the car window very loudly. Everyone wakes up and gets out of the car. Arjun asked “who are you”. He said a mantra “bib bi mantera bulak samier dona deras”. “If you go there you will die,” said the old man. Ajay became angry for no reason. “He must be a lunatic. Just leave him. We’re getting late”, Ajay said angrily, and pushed the old man. They continue their journey. The road is quite silent. It’s just 2 km from the place they are to the destination. They saw a board saying no vehicle can go after this, only by walking. Stella said “walk for 2 km, I can’t walk”. “Don’t be lazy’, said Selva. They started walking. “Why not we go home? We are coming back tomorrow morning,” said Arjun. “Just got 2 km we can walk. Don’t be too lazy,” said Ajay. The friends began to fight each other. After a few minutes, a girl walked towards them. “This is your last day together. Why are you all fighting,” said the girl. Everyone was terrified. “Who are you? What are you doing here”? asked Ajay. She doesn’t answer and she walks away. They continue walking. They were afraid. It’s 2:00 a.m. They arrived. When they first stepped on the sand of the forest, they heard “rarrrrrrrrrrrr”. “What sound is that”? asked Pooja. “This forest, of course, has sounds like that. It must be an animal roar” said Selva. They walk inside to find a safe place to sleep. They bring two tents to sleep there. While they were walking, they saw a house in front of them. The house is like a double-story house. “I think today we can sleep in this house” said Thivya. “We don't even know who this house belongs to,” said Shavina. They go near the house and call “is anyone there please come out”. No reply, so they press the doorbell. Still no reply, they knocked on the door. The door was open, so they went inside. “Is anyone there? Please come outside,” said Stella. The house has no one. So, everyone decided to stay there. They check out who it belongs to. In the living room, there are many photos hanging on the wall. It’s a photo of a family who got lost 2 years ago. The friends were happy because, according to them, the owner of the house had already died. So, they happily sleep inside the house. It’s 4:00 a.m. They heard a sound like someone screaming. The sound was too far. Everyone woke up and went downstairs to the hall. They asked each other who shouted. In their group, no one shouted. So, they decided to go and see what sound that was. Everyone goes there together. Stella slipped and fell. No one noticed it. They continued walking, then suddenly Stella stood and her face was full of blood. She bites Thivya’s neck. Adithya pushed Stella and asked “what happened to you”? From behind, Thivya bites Adithya. The 3 of them become chased and chased the rest of them. They all ran to the house. “What is happening”? asked Arjun. “Who are they,” asked Pooja. “This is Zombies” said Selva. “But zombies exist right” asked Shavina. “Of course, not it is a virus do you think virus will exist” asked Selva. “We all sleep here for today tomorrow we’ll find a way to go out of here” said Selva. They slept. The next morning, Shavina woke up. She was shocked because they were in sight of the river. She wakes her friends. They were scared. They heard a sound. Everyone went behind a big stone and hid. A boy came to them. “I’m human, like you all, don’t be afraid,” he said. “Who are you” asked Shavina. It’s 8:00 a.m. “I’m Karthik” answered the boy. “How did you come here”? asked Selva. “Me and my friends came here for KKN. They all got bitten by zombies, only I’m alive now” said Karthik. “What’s happening here” asked Shavina. “This is zombies” said Karthik. “We all know this is zombies, all we wanted to know is how zombies alive here. Doesn’t it exist” asked Shavina. “How is it affected, how to do it” asked Selva. “I’ll tell you but promise me you won’t hurt my friends who? became zombies” said Karthik. “I’ll promise”,, chorus the friends. It's 8:30 a.m. “This is the Solanum virus. This virus is caused by a zombie virus. An infection caused by a zombie virus usually leads to increased decay and cell death. Necrotizing facilities’ is a flesh-eating disease that affects your muscle fascia (thin connective tissue) under the surface of your skin and causes those tissues to die”, Karthik explained to them. “How, work”? “It is spread though contact, normally by a bite or contact with a bodily fluid (like blood) from the infected body” answered Karthik. “How is it affected”? asked Selva. “50,000 years ago, a 12 years old boy got bitten by an insect that exist in the world” said Karthik. “After 50,000 years how is it back”? asked Selva. “I don’t know because when me and my friends came here there is a few zombies” said Karthik. Everyone went to the house. While they were walking, a girl ran towards them. Her body was full of blood. They thought it was a zombie. “Shoot the zombie” said pooja. “Who got a pistol to shoot”? asked Shavina. “Karthik got it” said pooja. He shoots the girl. The friends walked towards the house. Shavina, Selva and Arjun were walking in the back. They were discussing something. “He said that he is a university student but how did he get a pistol doubts” asked Arjun. “I have doubts about him because the girl came here for help, she was not bitten by a zombie” said Selva. “And also, she came, for help and she said safe me and yourself. Before she tells us, he has already killed her,” said Shavina. “We have to be safe and spy on him” said Selva. “Hmmmm” replied Arjun. They all go to the house safely. Then Karthik locked them and went hunting. “Are you going to go alone, do you want me to help”? asked Ajay. “Sure, why not” said Karthik. After they go out, the friends search the house. Maybe they will get a clue. Everyone separated and searched in different places. Arjun searched in rooms. Pooja searched in the kitchen. Shavina searched in the living room. Selva searched in the basement. They got nothing. Ajay and Karthik got back home. “Do you know each other”? asked Selva. “No, we just became friends just now,” said Ajay. “Like one hour you have already been friends,” said Selva again. “What is wrong with that,” said Ajay. “Nothing wrong” said Selva. They went to the kitchen to cook the meat they got. Others of the friends were sitting in the living room. “Ajay and Karthik have known each other since childhood” said Selva. “How do you know that”? asked Shavina. “Look at this”. Selva showed a photo. Ajay and Karthik are childhood friends. “Something suspicious here, tomorrow morning let’s go from here” said Selva. After they cook, everyone eats together at the dining table. Suddenly, they heard someone crying. It sounded very much like the cries of a girl just now who asked for help. “Who is crying?” asked Shavina. “That must be a zombie” answered Karthik. Karthik is at peace with his friends. They go to sleep. It’s 9:00 a.m. Next morning, everyone woke up and decided to go out of the house. They slowly packed their things and locked the door. They slowly go along the roadside. A huge stone fell from the hill towards Pooja. She didn’t notice it, and the stone fell on her and the cat and dog were bleeding. Her friends didn’t know what to do. Her body is in pieces. They just did the process of cremation, and buried Pooja. After praying for her, they slowly move on to the roadside. Then someone from behind hit their heads. Everyone fainted. Everyone woke up, they were in a dark room with only one light. Their hand was tied up with a rope. “Who are you? Why did you kidnap us? asked Selva. Selva and Shavina were in the room but Arjun was missing. They heard a clapping sound. “Ha Ha Ha Ha” laughed Karthik. “Well-played game am I right,” said Ajay. “You such a traitor” said Selva. “How could you betray us”? asked Shavina. “Your bad luck, my good luck, said Karthik. It’s 5:00 p.m. “Do you want to know how we play this game”? asked Ajay. “I and Karthik are brothers. I studied for a medical doctor and he studied for a virologist. He has to find the medicine for a virus. He chooses the Solanum virus because no one has found the medicine for it. Eventually, a few of the forensic scientists could find the vaccine. So, he thinks he can find the medicine,” said Ajay. “Let me continue” said Karthik. “I had found the medicine so I asked Ajay if I needed some bodies. He gave me 21 bodies that I needed. I injected the Solanum liquid into them and tried my medicine. It couldn’t work on anyone; the 20 bodies became zombies. I tried on the last body, who was a girl named Ani. The medicine worked. I checked her body, then I found out that her blood was NEGATIVE blood, which is very rare in the world. So, I asked Ajay to find me a body that had NEGATIVE blood. He said no dead body in that blood but his friend got it. That is, you. So, me and Ajay planned and brought you here. If you were silent, only Shavina got hurt, but because of your intelligence and mind, all of your friends have to live their lives” said Karthik. “Now, also not late, I’ll let you go, but your friend Shavina can’t go with you,” said Ajay. They took Arjun and pushed him to Selva. His body was bleeding. “OK, let us go” said Selva. They open the door and let Selva and Arjun go. They ignore their friends and go. After they go, Ajay and Karthik take Shavina to a room that looks like a hospital room. They put some wires to her body and test her blood to see whether her blood is AB NEGATIVE or else. It would take two hours for it to come, so they injected her anesthesia injection to sleep for a while. While they were taking the test, “You leave them, what if they go and report to the police”? asked Ajay. “Do you think I will let them go? The zombies will handle them” replied Karthik. After 2 hours, they confirmed her blood and injected her Solanum liquid. They heard someone knocking on the door. Both of them got near the door but no one was there. When they came back, there was not Shavina’s body. They were looking for it but they couldn’t get it. They walked towards the roadside and they saw Selva and Arjun taking her to the roadside. Karthik and Ajay started to chase them. Suddenly, a big tree fell on the way they were running behind. There is a crowd of zombies chasing Karthik and Ajay. After the tree fell, both of them couldn’t run after it, so the zombies bite Karthik and Ajay. Three of them escape. They ran to the place where they parked their car. Selva started the engine and went to the nearest hospital. They admitted Shavian to that hospital and looked for her treatment. She was fine and she was discharged by the doctors. They go back to Ipoh and do some prayers for their friends. After 4 months They submitted their work on KKN and continued their studies to be a medical doctor. They still don’t forget their friends. They just forget it as a nightmare and live a happy life. THE QUESTION IS, WILL THE ZOMBIE COME TO THE CITY?
