The Lost Prince and The Devil's Secret
Once there lived a proud king who ruled over an immense empire. He was a lonely man, his grand palace empty as his only son had departed following the death of this mother. The prince was desolate and went off to a distant land, abandoning the king to decide things on their own. And after five long years had gone, and the king then growing old and tired, thought it was time for his son to return home. The Arx saved his most loyal guards and sent them to search for the prince. They searched the lands for a lost heir to the throne. The guards got back years later, and from the expression on their faces, one of an untold story that shook to its core of the kingdom. The prince," they said, "is not the same man you once knew. He is the Overlord of a savage fear-inducing competitor gang where up to 236 more gangs pledge their allegiance --Stronger than your own kingdom. This news was like a bolt from the blue to the king and he did not know what is happening with his heart between rage and despair. The king immediately commanded his guards to retrieve his son, a mission that which all who ventured into the jungle failed. The king grew older, and in time the only couldn’t the weight of his waiting empire fated to fall on his only son. But fate had other plans. Then, there entered the palace a set of strangers. It was just a regular day and the worst nightmare could started. The strangers walked up to the king and said, "We belong here. This is our empire now. Leave, or prepare to die." The halls reverberated with their voices rising in horrible, ghastly laughter. The king sent his royal guard to apprehend the intruders, as soon they grew closer their bodies were forced in into a deep sleep that lasted for eternity. The king was flabbergasted and asked, "What is happening? The strangers laughed darkly as they finally turned into monsters. 'One week to ponder — get out or die or you should find yourself under the ground. Having seen the kind of people that he was dealing with the king understood that these are not mere mortals. They were demons—the very souls that he was told had killed his wife. They were furious and the king could throw his sword at one of them, but the sword went through the air as usual. He was now getting a taste of what he had never thought existed and this made him realize that he was in deep s**t. ‘Shut all the doors of this palace!’ ordering the king became very furious.” Slay these demons and I shall give you half my kingdom” The guards were now completely devoted and charged forward. But the night with its darkness became a night of the s*******r and the stench of the death in the air. Of the millions of strong armies, only 47000 were remaining alive. Indeed, the structure of the palace seemed to share the horror that had taken place inside it, a testimony to an unknown war. The information about the conflict of the king went viral all over the king’s realm until it was heard by Haris, the king’s son. He was not on a throne of gold but he was sitting on a chair meant for a ruler with gold in his heart. This was not the place of a king but of a real leader. And when she narrated all this to Haris he went to his father’s palace only to get a glimpse of a dying king, who was incapable of governing the kingdom. “Father,” – said Haris – “who are these demons? Where can I find them?” The king, pale with exhaustion, answered: “You haven’t been here for years, my son. I can deal with them on my own.” But Haris, infused with fury, went out of the chamber of his father and went to the royal guard’s room where the echo of the guard’s taking about devil. On laying sight of the prince, the guards ceased to speak and stand still in respect of him. Haris raging said: ‘Tell me who they are and what they want!’ Nobody answered Haris’ question so he ordered to start with beating the guards. In less than a minute the room was jam-packed by thousands of men loyal to their commander Haris. They stood like animals before a fight waiting to let out their anger. After hours of torture the darkness of the night gave way to a confession from one of the guards who was hardly able to speak due to fear of the consequence of telling the truth. Upon listening to such story, Haris got determined to face the devil himself and put an end to the horror. But unknown to him the man that uttered the statement was not the ordinary guard. He, in fact, was the devil in disguise. The guard angrily asked, “In how way do you plan to kill him? Have you got a plan?” Haris replied with equal anger, “I don’t believe in the way of the planning, but have a spirit of fighting; I shall grab his neck, and that would be the end.” At that instance the devil appeared himself and laughed devilishly loud in the room. ‘Here I am. Were you looking for me?’ he said in a smirk. The guards who were with them became frightened and left the room, thus leaving Haris face to face with the devil. The gang members even could not believe what they saw as they never met evil of such kind before. Of course, Haris was unlike any of them; he was not only strong and brave but also a very religious man. He looked deep into the devil’s eyes and feigned forgetfulness, “You have been lurking around in this palace waiting for me?” Everyone was stunned. How did the devil know Haris? And how it was possible that Haris had known about the devil? Haris took his magical sword that his mother gifted on his 18th birthday and rushed to the devil, and drop a powerful punch on his face, who didn’t budge. When the king heard of it, he ran to the scene. When he came the devil said, ‘This is your son? Is this a man? Stand and worship me or I will kill him.’ The king begged, ‘Please, spare my son’s life. I will give you all that I possess.’ To which the devil said ‘I will only accept one thing from you and that is your son’s blood and know don’t interrupt me while drinking and eating it’s not a good manner.” It was quick and vicious; the devil throttled Haris, flung him onto the floor and kicked him around the walls of the palace. The royal guards who stood near froze, and hence did not act at all. Then the king pleaded his son’s gang to intercede, but all the gang could do was smile. One of them said, “Hey, king, who told you the devil will put an end to Haris? We have been travelling with him for more than five years now; we know how he battles; he never reveals how powerful he is until the last.” As soon the words escaped his mouth, Haris got up from the ground holding the devil’s neck. This was the first time that the devil appeared to be afraid. He struggles to scream but was unable to produce a sound. Thus, Haris was making a choke hold and his power suppressed the demon inside. The devil could hardly breathe and suggested that he should tell the truth about Haris’ mother, The devil began to sweat, and replied, “I will tell you how your mother died and who killed her?” Haris set him down there and said loudly, “Say it! Say who the killer was!” To this the devil responded, “It was your father indeed, who killed his wife but not your mother you’re not his son your mother is actually my mother we are brother!” Haris looked perplexed, “My father? My mother?” The devil proceeded, “Yes, your mother and is not the wife of this king she is alive and she stays far from here, that is why you are powerful as you are; my mother, the devil, wanted to know if you are as powerful as you seem to be, and want to check that really his blood is in you or not, and she wants you to come back home.” Looking at the king the prince inquired, “What is happening?” This enraged the king who cried profusely, “He is a devil, his job is to tell lies do not listen to him, I listened to him and your mother died.” King began making beg his son with tears rolling down his cheeks. Prince then looked at the devil and said to him, ‘I will make you come nearer.’ The devil went to Haris and he bent and started telling something in his ears. The prince whispered in to the devil’s ear, “Tell that lady who calls me son and ask to be my mother, I am home.” He then put his knee on the shoulder of the devil and pulled the devil’s head off and thrown it in front of his father. Everyone within palace opened their mouths with disbelief written all over their faces unable to make any sound. Having said that, Haris looked to his gang and said, there is a woman here claiming to be my mother; let’s go face the person. The king begged for Haris not to leave him again. “Father,” Haris said softly, “I am with you always but there is this feeling inside telling me I have to go and meet her I shall come back to you father and we shall live as before.” With that, Haris and his gang left the kingdom, on the journey towards the most sinister, the most enigmatic part of the world —THE ORIGINATION OF STORIES, THE REBIRTH OF LEGENDS!
