Amongst the natural soothing sound of the ocean,sniffs could be heard from a seven year old girl named Jade,trying her possible best to minimize the intensity of her tears,which she failed terribly . She sat at a discreet corner of the sandy beach behind a rock that covered her slender feature perfectly,making her not easily spotted by things behind. Blonde hair covering her face as she hugged her kneels,her once lively grey eyes were filled with sadness and her usually crystal clear sclera were blood red. Her little eyes becoming irritated as the cool breeze assaulted them,”mom...”she mumbled inaudibly as the traveling wind consumed the sound,she was on the verge of passing out. "Haaaa" jade heard a sudden aggrieved sound coming from behind her. She looked up to see a shaggy little boy lying with his back on the rock she was hiding with. He angrily mumbled things at the sky. Startled by his sudden appearance, she instinctively moved away from the rock. Hearing the sound of sudden movements the little boy looked down to see a tiny little girl with tears all over her face looking terrified. "Awkward" he unconsciously scratched his silvery hair. After a while he jumped down then walked towards where she had scurried to. Jade used her hands to move backwards getting ready to spring out of there. “My mom told me if you cry too much you would become very ugly” He stared at her beautiful face for some seconds and said “but I guess she lied” he blinked multiple times to cover up. “ But..she also said if you do that too much you wouldn’t be able to see on your next birthday and when you sleep monsters would chase you around” the pale but yet handsome young boy spoke,using his hands to demonstrate the monsters,then gave a toothy smile like what he said actually made sense. Jade realizing that he might not mean any harm felt slightly relived but immediately started crying more because she broke another of her moms law,first being not to cry which she failed and not letting people see her when she does,it portrays weakness. “Oops”he felt slightly embarrassed that his attempt to stop her tears scared her instead “I honestly thought that would work,i guess it only sounded better in my head”he murmured with a pouted mouth. He took a sit beside her while she shifted feeling uncomfortable by his skin touching hers,he scratched his unkempt silver hair which was now looking brown for some reason. “haaa”his ocean blue eyes sparkled due to an idea popping up in his head ,He shifted to his left side to pull out something from the right back pocket of his worn out jeans trousers,he held proudly in his little hands the candy his mom gave him a week ago that he previously forgot about. ”this right here is a magic candy given to me by a fairy,do you want to know what happens when you eat them?” The little girl who has been watching Disney since she was in her mothers womb nodded her head gently signaling him to continue. "You have to say you want to know,if you do not say anything I’ll just leave with my magic candy” She then answered "yes" with a trembling voice "Good,if you eat one you would have a nice future with a prince charming like me" Jade examined the boy from head to toe and he definitely wasn't looking like any Prince Charming she has seen on Tv,She aggressively refused by shaking her head vigorously. Eyeing her a little bit when she wasn’t looking "Okay fine like the one in Cinderella or Barbie " he said feeling extremely insulted. He then looked at her to see if she would continue being interested and off course she was " in that nice future you wouldn't have to worry about anything,all your problems and nightmare's would be gone for good,do you want that?" "Yes" she nodded and said more firmly than before. "For it to work you have to share with me what you want to change in your life"he stared deeply into her grey eyes. she remembered vividly the memories she wished she had forgotten,how everything changed. -1 year ago - “mummy I’m not going to drink that”Jade ran away from her mom unfortunately for Jade her legs were short so therefore her three stride equalled one of her mother. Maya her mom lifted her from the ground and placed her on the wooden table,they where in the kitchen of the huge mansion Jade’s father owned,the house was empty aside from Jade and Maya,the house keeper comes every Saturday of the month. Maya was a very attractive petite lady,she had Jade when she was twenty two,her beautiful blonde hair dusting her back and beautiful grey eyes. Jade’s beautiful face,a smaller version of the mother,was covered with frowns as she saw her mom pull the green liquid closer. Jade then tightened her rosy lips in defiance. “Open up Jade ”her mom pleaded. “mummy please don’t do this to me or i will never forgive you and when i grow up I won’t buy you that red huge car i promised you” she blabbered trying to get out of the situation. “Jade darling that huge car you promised to buy yourself,is my car and it’s currently parked in the garage”her mom smirked. “what about the fancy blue bag, i’m definitely sure i promised to buy you that one” she pouted. “thats also my bag”her mom rolled her eyes. “then what did i promise to buy you?”she placed her little fingers on her pouted lips trying to remember what she had promised her mom that her mom didn’t have. “the dress that tinker bell wore”her mom reminded her. she frowned her little face remembering how her mom changed the channel when her favorite show was going on then jade innocently promised to buy the gown if she changed it back, what was she expecting from a six year old child!. “but it’s beautiful”Jade mumbled. “and also not real and stop trying to change the topic,you are not leaving this table until you drink this”she wiggled the medicine cup in front of Jade. “i would love to stay here all day with my beautiful mumm—“ before she could finish her sentence Maya pushed the fluid into her small mouth,she knew her daughter would be willing spend the whole day on the table if she hadn’t done that. “Moooommmm”she maneuvered her way off the table running towards the sink with the speed of light,but there was one problem,she was too short,her hands couldn’t go all the way to the tap head,so she gave her mom the award winning “you betrayed me look” They were in such a happy mood that they didn’t notice the broad figure standing at their back with a very pissed look. “mind if i join ” he said calmly, his face not showing his emotions. Maya and Jade both turned to face the owner”daddy!!” Jade had ran with all her strength to hug her favorite person like she always does but only for him to step to the side while she landed on the floor with a loud thud.
