LANDON'S POV The kiss lingers in my mind even after I pull away. I feel the heat of it all - the sweet warmth of her lips, the softness, the fire beneath it all. My heart is still pounding in my chest, and I can’t seem to breathe properly, even though we’ve already broken contact. Clarissa's breath hitches, and I can see the confusion and curiosity in her eyes, almost like she’s trying to figure out what just happened.
