Caressa closed her eyes against the force that she felt pressing her into the seat. She tried to shut out the fear that threatened to take over her mind and drive her crazy. Michyle was in danger, she knew that for certain. He'd placed her on the escape pod to keep her safe. However, as she traveled further and further away, she wished more and more that she had insisted on staying by his side. She promised herself, that when they came together again, she would not allow him to send her away like this. It was the first time since her father's passing that she'd felt so lost and completely alone.
