Amullette's POV Amullette awoke in bed alone to a knocking sound. She noted the chill of the room then turned to find a bathrobe and slippers next to the bed. She only barely registered the oddity of having these needs met without asking. She could smell food coming from downstairs and began heading in that direction when she heard Kroan speaking with Dr. Kepp. “She is still a prisoner," Dr. Kepp reminded him. “Well, I'm not," he responded. “For the time being, this is my home and I am not letting you barge in and out at your leisure, disturbing me or my wife whenever you want. Dr. Meadow wants us to create a normal environment for the child. So, if you want to speak with my wife you will have to make an appointment like a normal doctor."
