Astor drives into academy, the guards saluting him by placing their fist on their chest. Weird.
He packs the car and we both climb out to see the Dean and Jake walking towards us. The Dean looks worried and devastated while Jake has a deadly scowl on his face. His gaze fixated on Astor. Probably because Astor lied about the Dean calling him to tell Jake to go back to the academy.
When they get to us, the Dean pulls Astor and me in for a hug. “I am so sorry”, he apologizes, which breaks my heart. I never should have let you guys go alone”.
