“Welcome back to class Maisie”, Mr. T greets and I smile warmly.
“Thank you sir”.
“How’s Sophie”. He asks and the smile on my face vanishes.
“It was a difficult ritual. She’s still in a coma. The Doctors aren’t hundred percent sure she’ll survive and if she does, they have a feeling she wouldn’t be the same anymore. I.. I hope she wakes up herself. I can’t lose anyone else”. I ball my fists hard on the desk, my head down. “I just can’t”. A tear threatens to fall but I push it back.
“Oh Maisie”, Mr. T calls, his voice full of sympathy. “She’ll be fine, you just need to have faith”.
“Mr. T’s right, she’ll be fine. Sophie is a fighter. She won’t let something like that hold her down. She’s a strong girl and you need to believe that”. Luna says, wrapping her arms and pulling me in for a
