Jessica pov  I don't know why but, he reminded me of daddy and I wasn't going to go through that again. I waited for midnight and packed my stuff. I threw the backpack over my shoulder and snuck out. The cool night air felt great but, I looked around quiet and when coast was clear I ran and hid. I ran checked and hid. I was in the woods when I felt free. I was free and I smiled and grinned. I started to keep going I didn't want to be found. All I heard was crickets and owls. My feet got tired and I thought I take a short break just some by tomorrow night I rest.  I climbed a tree and took a small break. I counted to one hundred slowly.  Then I heard dogs barking. f**k I climb down and sprinted I needed water to get them off my scent. I didn't look back I just pushed myself to run fast. I heard the dogs barking get louder. I was so scared. I ran faster and I saw to my relief a building. It was a log cabin. I smiled. Maybe it has pepper. I quickly tried the door and it wasn't open. I looked around for a key everyone puts keys out a spare at least. I was hoping. I even searched for a fake rock something. I finally was just about to give up but, found it on the window under the sill. I grab it and unlocked the door. I step inside and went searching for the kitchen. I locked the door and rummaged through the cabinets. I found the pepper and went out the back door.  I sprinkled it everywhere and on me. I then put the key back and walked away. I grin how smart I am. Mark underestimated me. I smiled. I figured I walk more until I find some place to rest. I was so out of breath and needed rest. I heard the dogs barking and then I wish I could see his face when the dogs start acting weird.  Mark pov  I knew she was going to run she was a runner so I figured I set the dogs on her.i had the dogs smell her clothes and smiled they took off into the woods. They caught her scent started barking and ran. I thought when they stopped by the log cabin she be surrounded. No that b***h did something and I saw it. Pepper everywhere. The dogs were sneezing and I knew it was on me to find her. I saw a small print and it wasn't an animal. I had to find her before she found the road.   Jessica pov  I needed to push myself but, I think I was going in circles. I listened and climb trees to look where I was but, all I saw was trees nothing else. There was no clearing. I climb down I was so tired. I needed rest. I finally climbed a tree and fell asleep just a short nap. Then I just remembered oh f**k Jessica you forgot he was a tracker. I felt a Misty rain start and smiled. Please let it pour so it will cover my tracks. It was just a light drizzle and I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
