The Luna Returns

Chapter Two

After dark I put some clothes and some food I took from the kitchen in my bag.

I checked if anybody was outside, through the window but I didn't see anybody then I slipped through the yard door into the backyard.

As I was about to start running away, Liam showed up out of nowhere.

"Where are you going my lady, you shouldn't be alone in the dark." He teased me.

I didn't know what to say so I just stood still.

"Are you deaf?" I asked where are you going. What! Are you even carrying a bag? What might be in the bag? and don't annoy me tonight.

"I am just going for a walk, and what is in the bag is none of your business."

"You have the nerve to talk back at me, do I need to remind you that I am the next Alpha of the pack."

As Liam tried to snatch the bag from me I ducked my hand and landed him a blow on his jaw. Then I started running.

"Guards! Guards! A rogue has stolen from the pack." Liam yelled.

What! I couldn't believe my ears he just called me a thief and a rogue I have the same right to the food in the kitchen as everyone else.

I looked back and I saw about five people running after me, I kept running. I knew they couldn't catch up because I was much faster than anybody in the pack.

As I looked at my front I saw two werewolves running towards me I knew I was done for, no way I could outpace them after they had shifted into their wolf form.

I changed direction abruptly but I didn't look at the ground. I fell flat on my face as I tripped on a stone.

The two werewolves pinned me down immediately, as I was fighting them off, Liam and four guards showed up.

"You slave, you dare to hit me in the face, you will wish you were dead." Liam barked.

"Hold her tight, let me show her how to behave."

Two guards held me by the arms, and Liam started to hit me all over my body.

Suddenly I started to feel stronger, I heard my bones cracking, suddenly my bones started to get longer, my spine started going longer and sharp claws came out of my hands.

Then I shifted into a wolf, I couldn't believe it, this was my first time shifting into a wolf.

"It is the great Dane wolf!" One of the guards said.

"Don't be stupid how can this sheep of a girl be the Dane, she just looks like the Dane don't be deceived."

The Great Dane wolf is the type of female wolf that is very strong. They are the best type of female wolf, the strongest, fiercest, and most beautiful wolf.

They are usually the Luna, they have snow-white fur and beautiful eyes.

Suddenly Liam shifted into his wolf, and the guards followed suit, then started fighting me.

I couldn't believe I was this strong. I smashed one of the guards' wolves straight at a tree with just one kick.

Suddenly I felt a sting on my neck, I looked at it as if it was a silver pin then everything went blank.

I woke up in a cell stack naked, I can't believe Liam locked me up, he is just two years older than me and not even the Alpha yet

I heard someone coming, I tried to cover my nudity.

"You tried to kill my brother, after stealing our food, what exactly were you thinking? Olivia said.

"It was a complete accident, I didn't try to kill Liam, it was a mistake I didn't know my wolf would appear at that moment. Please get me a cloth to cover up."

"You dare request for a cloth you shameless slot after trying to kill my brother, I will let him know you're awake already and let him decide what your punishment will be."

"What is wrong with you, they mistreat you every day and now you apologize for trying to escape." Zoe, my werewolf said angrily.

"Now you blame me, where were you the whole time I was been called wolfless, why didn't appear since so I could escape."

"You always resisted me Zina, you always resisted the urge to fight those hellish beings. If you had fought I would have appeared."

"Two of the pack guards are on the sick bed because of you, you tried to kill me, and you stole food. I am sure my father wouldn't mind if I executed you." Liam said with a demonic look on his face.

"Liam I beg you, let me just leave the pack, I promise not to come back ever again, let just take what happened yesterday as a grave mistake."

"A mistake! You call that a mistake you must be out of your mind. If I wasn't fortunate to have the silver pin I am sure you would have killed me by now."

"I will ask the maid to bring clothes and feed you well, I shouldn't starve the animal meant for s*******r. I know it won't be long till my father dies, so I will execute you myself.

Not long after Liam left a maid brought a robe and some food for me.

"Please, could you tell maid Grace to bring me something from my room, I need it for my headache." I pleaded with the maid.

"I can't do that I am sorry, you know how Liam would react."

"I promise you he wouldn't find out, please I am in need."

"Okay, I will tell her."

I heard footsteps. I prayed it was Grace. She is the only maid I am close to and she is sympathetic to me.

"I heard you requested to see me please say what you wanted to see me, please make it snappy," Grace said.

"Please, I want you to go to Alpha Hunter and tell him Liam has locked me up, that is the only way you can save my life."

"That is very risky but I will do it because I don't want that devil to kill you," Grace said then scurried away.
