Chapter five

Moonlight Pack;

"What do you mean you don't know if she is dead, she better be dead because Father has found out that you imprisoned her and you tried to kill her if she is not dead and she testifies against you, you know what Dad is capable of doing," Olivia said.

"What do you mean I imprisoned her? Was it not both our ideas that I put her in the dungeon." Liam furiously.

"Don't try to put the whole blame on him, we are all culprits in this whole scenario," Riley said.

"Stay away from this whole matter you are not even part of our family, you are just a leech on my brother so you can become the Luna when he is the Alpha you shameless slot," Olivia said angrily.

"You guys should calm down for crying out loud, let us wait for the guards to come back and know if she is dead or not, and in the meantime let us find out who told Father about the whole situation," Liam said.

"Are dumb or stupid, the whole pack was woken up from their sleep and you want to find out who told Father, anybody in the pack could have told him," Olivia said.

"Why would you stand there and let her insult you, after all, you are the first son and the future Alpha," Riley said.

"Why don't you shut your mouth and get out we are having a family discussion here and stop talking rubbish." Ava screamed.

Suddenly a guard rushed in looking very scared and uncoordinated.

"We looked around everywhere and we found out that she fell from the cliff at the edge of the Dark Hound pack that fall would have killed anybody, but strangely, we found footprints of two people leaving the spot, but we don't know for sure if she survived the fall and left with someone or two people took away are a corpse." The guard narrated.

"The only way we can find out is to go to the Dark Hound pack, but that would be difficult because they don't like visitors from our pack because their Alpha has convinced them that we are trying to kill him and take over the pack." The guard reported.

"Thank you, I will see what I can do about it," Liam said dismissing the guard.

I have to go to Dark Hound pack myself to search for her if she is there I will finish her off. You guys should behave well.

"Wait, father told us that her uncle in her pack killed her parents and tried to kill her, why would she go back to the same pack does that make any sense?" Ava asked.

"That is very true, why would she go back to where she is wanted dead," Riley asked.

"We have always mistreated her and took it to the point of killing her, I think she wants to just escape from us and go back to her original pack, who knows maybe she might have another relative or maybe she wanted to take her chances with her uncle," Olivia said.

"If she is alive or not I would go find out for myself. I can't take chances with any of the guards one of them helped her escape." Liam said hurrying away to prepare for the journey.

Dark hound pack;

Now that we have Zina in our pack what is the plan, we need a very good and solid to be able to defeat Alpha Hunter you know he has a lot of spies around also watching out in case Zina comes back." Nathan said.

'It shouldn't be that hard, nobody can recognize her again she is in another form." Mason said.

"I think she should find a job in the Alpha's house, and try to get close to him, if she can do that she would get close to the Alpha. Like a maid job or something close." Nathan said.

"The closer she gets to him, the better her chances to bring him down," Mason added.

"You know he is an Alpha what if he senses that I am Zina, what if he recognizes me by asking to shift," Zina said.

Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door.

Nathan signaled me to run into the room, they looked very suspicious.

A loud voice followed another bang on the door.

"We won't hesitate to break down the door if you don't open the door, we were sent by the Alpha." The voice roared angrily.

Nathan opened the door, "What have we done to the Alpha, why did he send you to us we don't have any business with him."

"You have been suspected of illegal activities you have to follow us to the Alpha now." The guard said.

Suddenly Mason shifted and howled, the guards and Nathan followed suit. It turned into mayhem and a fight broke out in the living room.

As they started fighting, I smelled something that turned my head.

Mate!! Zoe screamed.

What! this is not the time for a mate. I need this revenge first but my mind wanted to feel the warmth of my mate.

My mate entered the living room I couldn't believe it. It is Blake, the guards barred their necks in respect. He looked at the door like he knew I was peeping through a hole, and he started walking towards the door.
