In like a flash the loud beeping came to an abrupt stop filling the room with silence everyone looked shocked and startled unsure of what to do
“What have you done you witch” a voice pierced through the silence shattering it. All eyes landed on Myla who had the frail man’s hand in hers. The silence disappeared immediately and turned into an uproar
“Oh my, Grandfather!” Maddie said at the top of her voice throwing herself on the ground she began to wail
“Don't leave us” she said repeatedly shaking the still man as tears streamed down her face, if I didn't know her I would have fallen for it no one could have possibly guessed that was putting on an act
Damn was she a good actor
The doctor tried to revive him but I guess it was too late when he turned to us
