21. Romantic night.

Heri's Point of View.

It's been a day since I came back to Iklu and have finished with all the necessary things.

And by now it is around eight at night and Iam currently waiting for Galen and his friend to arrive.

Yup, he found himself a friend in one day itself and we are indeed going through with this weird plan of meeting at night arrangement.

I have set up the fireplace, and make some tea and prepare some snacks not really knowing what other things to do.

I just sit there while Vann sit beside me and keep on sighing.

Heri: Oh hush, it's just a one time thing.

Vann: Why must I do this again?

Heri: Because I say so.

He roll his eye when I said that. Actually because I don't really know who Galen is bringing and because Iam also quite nervous that Galen is coming, Iam keeping Vann as my support system for the night, which he hate.

Whether he stay or go will depend on how the first ten minutes go.

Vann: I can't believe I have to suffer for you to date.

I glare at him, taking out my nervousness on him. I don't really know why Iam so nervous though.

Heri: Just stay with me for a bit, I swear I will let you go after a bit.

He sigh and just plop his head down on the couch and close his eye while I sit there, my feet rocking itself up and down.

But then again the good thing is at least that Vann allowed some man in our house and that too at night. You don't know what all kind of things I do to convince him and again what all kind of threats I use to make him stay right now.

Just then the door bell ring, making me get up in a jiffy and went to open the door, excited in an instant.

And like that just as I open the door, Galen is standing there wearing a simple black Jacket with a white shirt on the inside and a black jeans with black Vans. His hair neatly lift up and his red eye sparkling in beauty as always.

Galen: Hello there, looking beautiful as always.

I chuckled at his cheesiness.

Heri: A good evening to you too, Galen. But where is your friend?

He look at me suspiciously while I do the same to him.

Galen: Why do I feel like you are looking forwards to 'my friend' arrival alone and not mine?

I still continue to look at him suspiciously not giving any mind to his words.

Heri: Why do I feel like the friend Iam quite looking forward to meet is not here?

He tch at my word and shake his head in denial.

Galen: I did brought someone. That special friend of mine is outside on call, let's just wait a bit.

Oh!

I nod my head in agreement.

Heri: Shall we go in first then?

I tried to look for his friend who is on call, but I can't. Maybe he is on the other corner that cannot be seen from the door by the way Iam standing.

Galen: Emm, shall we just wait for a bit here, anything happen to that friend, and my life is gone. I need to guard.

By his words I look at him in a weird way, why kind of people is he friends with that he guards them as well. Oh My God, is it?

Heri(squealing): You brought a kid didn't you?

He looked at me shock while I do the same.

Galen: No! But size wise, you may think that as well.

He give me a wry smile while I give him my dry one.

Heri: You sure it's not a kid right?

He shake his head in a no, while I sigh in relief. But my relief was gone and surprised set in at the next voice I hear.

The friend: Sis Ri, you think Iam a kid.

Heri: Tilbe?

Tilbe: Hello!

And she walk out from the dark while I gape at them. I look at Galen in disbelieve while I did the same with Galen.

Heri: Tilbe is the friend?

Both of them nod, smiling happily while I gape at them. Now the guard thing make sense, if something happen to the fruit basket while we are with them, we are all doomed.

Heri: So you are saying, that friend is not even a guy?

The both nod at teh same time again, both still smiling, making me more annoyed.

Heri: So Galen, you are telling you bring another girl along to date a girl?

Iam not mad or anything like that, I just can't believe what is happening. And besides didn't Galen said Tilbe don't like him, how did they become friends overnight.

Galen: But it's Tilbe.

Tilbe: But Iam Tilbe.

Vann: Did I just heard Tilbe.

Wahh! Are they all trying to team up on me or something. But then, I agree that it is Tilbe and she does not count exactly as a girl in such situation with me, that is weird but that is how it is.

And also, how the hell was Vann able to hear us from way inside, he was not even by the parlour. He was in the kitchen.

But then as soon as Tilbe saw him, she rush up to him and jump on him hugging him.

Tilbe: Miss me?

Vann catch her expertly and hug her back with a soft smile on his face.

Vann: Of course I miss you, sorry I have been so busy I couldn't meet you.

It never fail to surprised me how soft Vann is with Tilbe even when I have been looking at this scene since I was a kid.

Vann always has a corner for her, which he never show to anyone else. Not even for his family.

Vann is someone who has a cold and distant personality and he rarely get close to anyone. Thats just his personality though and nothing more.

He is the type who don't really like crowd or spotlight and always keeps to himself and remain silent most of the time. He rarely smile or laugh aloud like normal kids do since he was little and it has always been like that since.But with Tilbe, all of that is a joke. He can literally do every kind of weird things for her voluntarily and contentedly.

They are cute and adorable like that. And besides with how tiny Tilbe is and how tall Vann is, they are like the perfect image of an adorable couple. And also both of them has a killer face to go along with it. They are literally the ship I keep on pushing for all my life.

While I was thinking about everything, Galen push me a little.

Galen: Did Tilbe get more of your attention than me, Iam jealous. I think I should have gone with other person had I knew this will happen.

I chuckled at his words.

Heri: They are just so cute aren't they?

And I turn back expecting the two cute soul to be standing there sti but there is no one there making me look at the spot in confusion.

Galen: And they have gone inside long before.

Haish, those kids! What are they so impatient about, really?

Heri: Now that Iam sure, you indeed have a friend with you, lets go in.

And we started to walk inside but even while walking I don't miss the unimpressed and dry look he have me.

Heri: What?

Galen: You were not really looking forwards to only meeting my friends right?

I shake my head in disbelieve at his question, boy only if he knew what is in my mind, then the conversation will have been so different.

Heri: I was just too nervous to meet you alone in my home, that too at night so j just wanted to be distracted for a bit in a while.

He sigh in relief, but a bit orverdramatically for it to be real, while I chuckled at his action.

Galen: Don't worry, I never take advantage of other people and also does not do anything without anyone consent.

I look at him with a cheeky smile on my face, already knowing what my answer will be to his words.

Heri(with a serious face): Well the problem is that, I might want to be taken advantage of.

He stop walking for a while a bit shocked by my words while I walk ahead inside in the kitchen.

Galen: Don't try my control like that Heri, believe me I'm barely holding on.

Tilbe: What control?

I gape at Galen while he look at Tilbe and was about to say something when Vann come in between them and gave us a nasty glare, now what is that kid thinking about.

Vann: Shall we go and eat something, you want me to make something for you?

Tilbe look a bit confused by what just happen but nonetheless nod her head in agreement with Galen.

Tilbe: Let's make some fresh juice!

Vann nod happily at that and lead her towards the kitchen island.

Vann: Let's make this and go hang out in my room alright?

She nod and happily follow him along like a small puppy besides him, but I have no time to adore them this time like I always do because what he said just register in my mind.

Heri: Oh no no, you guys are not going anywhere.

Vann looked up from taking out the fruits to make juice and glare at me one more time. While Galen also look at me unimpressed. While the little fruit basket look at me totally clueless as to what is happening, and there I find my target.

Heri: Tilbe, don't you want to stay with me too when you are here, I think you only want to hang out with Vann. You never met me anymore nowadays.

She look at me and guilt filled her beautiful face making me flinch a but, while Vann look at me angered.

Tilbe: We can stay with you guys too, can't we Vann?

Van look at me harshly but nonetheless nod his head in agreement with Tilbe. And there I knew the bait is hooked.

Lot the people don't really know, but Tilbe have a very innocent heart mainly because she does not socialise a lot, yet. And also because she is brought up pampered and protected everywhere, and above all she have a really kind heart and just trust everything so, that make her a little naive and unrealistically innocent at times.

And a sly person like tend to take advantage of it, while a protective person like Vann make sure she is protected.
