38 The meet.

Heri's Point of View.

Tilbe: Oh no no, I trusted you. Believe me I do, it's just some old couple don't.

I roll my eye as she said that while Galen sigh in disbelieve, shaking his head from left to right.

Galen(whisper): The little princess do hold grudges, don't she?

I nod my head smiling in agreement.

Anyway we were cut from our conversation by the lady.

The lady: Whatever you are on about. Anyway lets get down to business, shall we?

Tilbe: Be my guest, please sit down.

This will be interesting, or even disastrous to some point.

Tilbe: I have heard that there are other two with you, how come you are the only one here?

Well that was quite straight to the point.

The lady: I never know what you will do, so I have to take precaution.

Tilbe: Wow, Iam hurt. I trust you that much without any context and yet...

I shake my head at her drama while Galen just chuckle amused at the tone of the conversation.

The lady: Well that's because Iam not someone who just foolishly trust someone.

Oh! That is harsh.

Tilbe: Well you are here aren't you?

Her question was meet with silence which mean Tilbe win and I can literally see the grin she will be sporting.

Tilbe: Also I have figure out that, the two days you ask for is for you to hide the other two that was with you.

Another silence which means Tilbe is right again.

Tilbe: Which mean either that they don't have power or they are not strong enough.

Galen: She too know how to make points.

I nod in agreement. How Tilbe can be both so innocent and sharp at the same time is a mystery.

The lady: Leave the two out of the subject and talk to me instead.

She sound quite stern and a bit afraid at the mention of them, so her weakness is them.

Tilbe: If I want revenge, the candidates have appeared.

She sound smug and confident, unlike her usual self. I bet, on the inside she is freaking out too.

We heard a loud bang like someone slam into a wall or something like that making me jump up while Galen stable me.

The lady(angry): Don't you dare!

Tilbe: I told you before, if you think you will come to my land and hurt my people, then you will be sorry. This is just a warning to be careful. Now then shall we start talking?

Why is Tilbe behaving this way, she is warning her not to do anything and is threatening her with her other two partner. I thought she will approach her more warmly but this is odd.

Did the lady did something to her that we don't know of or something.

Tilbe: Iam guessing by the fact that you came to me yourself, you don't want a fight or anything of its sort. Iam hoping Iam right?

And the docile and happy Tilbe is back, her words no longer so strong and piercing. She is just having a conversation now.

The lady: And by you giving me a chance to choose, you are not going to be so harsh on us.

Tilbe: That will depend on what you want.

The lady: Is kicking us out of Iklu the answer if our goals are not met?

That is the only answer I know of, and even if they are good people there is a high chance that they can't stay in Iklu.

Tilbe: The answer of whether you can stay or whether you have to go doesn't really depend on your character or anything like that.

The lady: Iklu is open to none, I guess that's right?

Tilbe must have gave nod or something cause there was silence after that.

The lady: I'll beg you if I must.

Tilbe: That is not needed, cause if I can help before you even beg I would have done it already.

That is true, she too know she is kind and upto how much she can do.

The lady: I want you to grand us the permission to let us stay here.

Well that really wasn't a surprise, cause if they don't want to hurt Iklu then the only other way is them wanting to stay here. And I guess they are the latter part.

Tilbe: Is there a reason why I should say yes to this?

The lady : The guy that came with me is from Iklu.

I guess this is the guy we met the last time.

Tilbe: So he is the link through which you know about Iklu?

The lady: Yes!

Tilbe: And why is he bringing outsider in when he know he cannot?

Has Tilbe trust that they are saying the truth already? Or is this a test?

The lady: It is not my story to tell but the things I do know of is that his parents left Iklu when he was quite young. But the parents died in an accident unfortunately, which make him end up in an orphanage. And that is where we meet.

Tilbe: Okay, please carry on.

Teh lady: The other girl that is with him is my sister. But she is adopted by my parents from the orphanage. While a friend of our parent adopt the guy. We all grow up together as they were so close right from when they were small. We were all so happy being with each other, from childhood to adulthood. My parents love us all a lot and his do too. Well that is untill about five years back.

Tilbe: Iam guessing thats when a tragedy begin.

A grave one at that if they are running away from home called their world that is.

The lady: You are right, a tragedy did happen. About six years back my parents suddenly start to have issue with my sister, they will scold her for every little thing, always raise their voice in saying anything. They will always be annoyed with her and everything she do seems to make them angry. At first we thought, it was just a phase, or that they were just in a bad mood. But the phase or the bad mood continue on for years with no end. And slowly but surely my parents become emotionally abusive towards her and when I tried to step in, they will be angry with me as well but they never really do anything to me.

Tilbe: Why the sudden change?

The lady: I still don't know, but things become so bad as days go by. My sister move out and went to live on her own as it was too much to take, cause by the third year they have even start to use their ability even though it was out of their control on her which can kill her easily. And they nearly did.

I listen with shock in my heart, how can a parents do that to their own child. No, how can a human do that to a human.

The lady: But even after she move out, they won't leave her alone. And slowly the guys parents also start to hate her and soon after were against their relationship. But the guy deny and continue to see my sister. He keep on asking for a reason which they won't say, thus both side become more and more angry with each other.

Tilbe: And you still don't know the reason, do you?

The lady: No, but one day a fight happen when my parent and his found them together somewhere outside. They drag them back home where I was and there the t*****e begins. They scold her and it become quite harsh but they never hurt her physically before, but that day when she finally lash out and ask why, my father lose control and he attack her. His ability is not something he can control but his spirit goes around when he is angry on its own, and without knowing he nearly killed her but thankfully I step in before that.

Iam not quite aware of the west witch ability but I guess from today on I will.

The lady: And after that we left, running away while my mother tried to control my father. But you see, with his ability even though we have ran away, his spirit can sense us anywhere we are.

Tilbe: But he won't be able to be if you are in Iklu.

The lady: Exactly!

I see where this is going, but I wonder how Tilbe will answer to this, cause even if we sympathise and want to help, no one can just let people in like that.

The lady: So please, I beg you. Help us, help them. I can always went away but they can't and are only safe here.

Her pleas were met with silence.

Making both me and Galen sigh as well.

The lady: I know it is hard to let anyone in , in Iklu and I know I am asking for a lot here. But please help us. You just have to allow us to stay here and we won't disturb anyone after that, we will just stay by ourself, won't go mingle with anyone or be seen to anyone. We can just stay at a forest if that's what we need to do.

Tilbe cough a bit interrupting her rant of pleas of desperateness.

Tilbe: Iam just saying this as an info and nothing else.

Well she is going to help, isn't she?

Tilbe: In Iklu, there is a strict rule as to who can enter and who can't. And like I have said before, Iklu is not a place of charity or anything of such sort. We follow our rules strictly and stay to its way.

Okay, where is she going with this?

Galen: She is not going to help?

I shrug, but still believing she will help somehow. I mean, it's Tilbe.

Tilbe: But a person can enter if she is married into a person of Iklu and if the people are his or her family.

Ah! So she chose this path.

Tilbe: You know where Iam going with this right, I mean Iam not going anywhere or anything like that but.

Wow, does she just help and said she does not help?

The lady: If we can prove that the guy is from Iklu, and then they get married. Then we can stay here freely. Thank you.

Tilbe: Yes, that is what you came up with and not me. So follow your plan, it is splendid.

I chuckle at that while Galen do the same. Actually it is her duty to be suspicious and stern and she cannot just help and trust anyone just like how she is doing. She have to be a judge and have to be neutral all the way. So it's likely not going the way it have to be, or the right way is how she is acting to be.

Iam tired just guessing how this will go.
