37. The meet.

Heri's Point of View.

I went inside the meeting and sat down, waiting for Tilbe and Galen or other more.

This time the meeting room is different again, the room Iam in right now is more like a dining room than a conference place. But Tilbe said we have to meet here, so who am I to deny at what she said, for whatever reason she might have said it.

Actually it has been two days since the day we met the couple and since Tilbe had chose to hide from us, and literally had deny to tell us anything about what had happen and why she had let the intruders go.

She disappeared for two days and came back about last night with a text telling us to come here, so here we are.

Just in about a minute, Galen walk in.

Heri: Good morning Galen.

He smile at me, give me a small kiss on my forehead and wish me a good morning as well.

Galen: Iam guessing Tilbe is not here yet, but other than us three is someone coming as well?

I shrug, not knowing anything.

Heri: Iam not sure, Tilbe just send me a text to come here at 10 and nothing else. Iam guessing yours is the same as mine as well.

Galen: Weirdly it's like she is afraid that we will scold her and is hiding.

I nod along in agreement while I do too.

Galen: Which is weird cause she is supposedly our boss like thing.

Tilbe: Because you guys are the type of people who do have the guts to scold your boss.

She walk in with her usual delicate looking white gown and settle at the head chair.

Heri: Thats because our boss is going a bit weird and even hide from her employees.

She just huff at that and act like I didn't say anything.

Tilbe: Iam of the knowledge that, you guys have been looking for me for the past two days.

I nod my head enthusiastically showing how much I did look for her.

Galen: And Iam guessing you know why.

She smile at us goofily while both of us look at her dryly.

Tilbe: Then let the meeting proceed, and the first question can be why you were looking for me.

I look at her in an unbelievable manner while she just smile at us, wryly this time.

Heri: Considering we are the only one here, is Uncle Jo not back yet?

She shake her head in a no while saying.

Tilbe: He will likely be back tonight.

Oh! This is a problem, security is his expertise so we really need his hand in this one, especially when the person we are going after are now aware that we are after them.

Galen: Okay then the first question, where were you this two days?

Tilbe look at him unimpressed, while I look at Tilbe completely interested in knowing her answer.

Tilbe: With all the things happening and thats the thing you want to know?

Both of us shrug at the same time when she said that.

Heri: Well, you might hide again so it's only more advantageous that we know where you were and are aware of the places that you can hide in.

Tilbe: Then why should I expose myself like that, I refuse to answer. Next question please.

Both of us once again roll our eyes at the same time at her answer making her look at us weirdly.

Tilbe: I know you guys are going out and all but please stop doing things at the same time weirdly like that.Its creepy!

Both of us shrug at the same time again, making Tilbe look at us unimpressed while we laugh at our own action.

Galen: Anyway, the first question is why did you let them go when we have caught them right under our nose and also the other person you mention about, who is it?

After the question both of us listen with interest while Tilbe sigh.

Tilbe: Well there was someone else indeed, a girl or more likely a girl from West witch.

Both of us look surprised by the piece of information.

Heri: Why are people from west witch here?

She shake her head in a no.

Tilbe: Iam not quite sure, but she have an ability which I can't figure out and can be quite dangerous.

We look at her, waiting for more information.

Tilbe: Well, she promised she won't hurt anyone and that she will come to me in two days herself with her people or the people that you meet.

I look at her confused while Galen look more than confused.

Galen: And you dont let them go, just because of that right?

I also look at her in anticipation, there must be something else that happen for her to let the other person go, she can't seriously just let them go with just their word.

Tilbe: Well that's kind of about it.

There was a heavy silence after that, with us just looking at her blankly while she smile sweetly at us.

Galen: Okay! Anyway why though? I mean you have caught her there as well right?

Tilbe: I was not sure if her companions were from west witch as well, cause if I caught her and you two by chance cross the others. Then, there is going to be a problem and civilians might get involved. And even if you do meet them and did arrest them, if we take them forcefully they might fight back and that won't be preety. So I just take the opportunity they gave us, that is willingly coming to us themselves.

I nod at that, yes that might be a problem and at worst case scenario, it might become violent as well. But what we have right now is not much better than the worse case scenario.

And her trust is a risk a bit too huge at the moment.

Tilbe: Oh by the way, who were the people you meet again?

Oh yes, she dont know anything yet. When I said she hide, she really did hide. Preety darn goodly at that.

Galen: A girl and a boy, and the boy is of the opinion that he is from Iklu.

She nod her head at that.

Tilbe: Well that might be the truth, cause if not there is no way of knowing about Iklu. And if it's not that, then someone of us has let the word slip.

That is also a good point, cause really no one and I mean no one outside of Iklu know of Iklu, not even a gist of it.

Heri: So what's the plan now, you have one right?

She smile at us goofily once again while I sigh to myself. Oh No, that smile means bad news and I guess Galen thought so do, by his question that is.

Galen(hopeless) : You have a plan right?

This time Tilbe shake her head in a no, slowly and hesitantly but surely making us sigh in disbelieve.

Galen/ Heri: So, the only plan is really just trusting her words?

We freak out at that.

And besides, isn't the two day the other lady promise us over by now.

Heri: So if they don't come, what happen then?

She chuckle a bit nervously at that.

Galen: Then you have no idea of what to do.

Tilbe: Well I do know about one thing.

We look at her all interested again.

Tilbe: Uncle Jo will have been back by then, so me out and you three in.

I literally face palm myself.Its my fault for even expecting something to begin with

Tilbe: Well the other thing I know is that, the girl will come.

Both of us once again look at her dryly while she smile confidently this time.

Galen: And you are sure of it because?

Tilbe: She will come, I just know about it. And besides, someone from west witch will never break their words.

I nod agreeing at that.

Heri: They do have the reputation for being the most loyal people. And yes they take promises quite seriously.

Galen nod, a bit relief at my statement but definitely not mostly relieved.

Tilbe: And if they dont, then I can always found them like how I did right?

We look at her, not really believing her while she just laugh looking at our expression.

Tilbe: And also if she is to come, she will be here any second now.

Well thats another piece of information, which should have been said much before. No?

Galen: Say what now?

Tilbe: Galen should hide or something!

We look at her in confusion when she said that.

Tilbe: I mean just in case, I am not quite sure of her ability but I have my guesses. So, please stay by the next room while I wait here. Both of you.

Heri: Then what about you? Won't you be in danger too? Isn't this a bit too dangerous? Lets think about other ways.

She sigh when I said that.

Galen: I think Heri is right in this one.

Tilbe sigh seeing our concern, and then her face turn a bit blank unlike her cheery self while saying.

Tilbe: Well someone has to take the risk, and since Iam called the leader, I should fearlessly take up my responsibility no?

I silently look at her while Galen do too.

Tilbe: Okay dont make such a serious face, Iam kidding with you guys. I have a vague idea that, she can't really attack me or it is harder to attack me.

We look at her dryly, competely unimpressed.

Heri: Tilbe!!

She laugh when I said that while saying.

Tilbe: My life is very precious and besides, I still have many thing to do. Why would I ever willingly put myself at risk?

I was about to answer when we heard a voice, following which Galen quickly caught my hand and we rush to the room next door. Or more like the hidden room next door and hide ourself.

The room is such a way that, there is a door hidden by the wall and if we went in there is a small room which is connected to the other side of the palace, so we can get out through this as well.

We went in there and hide, while I realise while doing so, as to why Tilbe called us in this room this time.

Anyway we stand near the door trying to listen to everything happening carefully.

We heard a guard asking permission to let someone in which Tilbe permit. The door seems to be opening or closing but just then we heard Tilbe's voice.

Tilbe: Iam glad you keep your promise.

When she said that I heard another lady's voice.

The lady: Iam a woman of my word, I told you I will come didn't I?
