36. Go.

Heri's Point of View.

We drive through the spring flowered place we went to before in quite a rush and went inside while confused as to what we are looking for.

Heri: Does Tilbe not say anything about who we might meet or where?

He shake his head in a no, completely focused on checking everything he can set his eye on.

While I sigh, I mean this place is huge! There is no way that we will be able to find someone in this huge place that too without alarming them.

Nonetheless I continue to move in towards the forest of flower not exactly knowing where to go next.

But just then I saw some smoke coming from the corner near a group of trees.

Heri: Galen, there! There seems to be someone there.

I said it in a hushed voice while pointing at where I saw the smoke. He look at it and nod in agreement.

Galen: There seem to be someone considering there is still smoke or maybe they are near.

Like that we went towards it with a hushed step as well and went and checked the place out, only to realise that there indeed is someone there.

We watch as the young couple sleep their hugging tightly to each other.

They sleep there peacefully by the fire, as if they are not outside and is probably running from someone else.

Heri: What do we do?

Galen: I don't even know if we are suppose to wake them up. They look too peaceful to be disturb somehow.

Heri: Tell me about it.

And I sigh to myself while both of us look at them standing there not really knowing what to do.

And I mean if they were really running, shouldn't they be awake by now. Or like shouldn't they be a little bit more aware of things or people in this context.

Galen sign at some of the knight Tilbe sent to help us, to rest for a bit making them go back to wherever they were, out of our sight. They can do that quite well, staying out of our sight or anyone sight for that matter.

He sat a bit away from where they sleep by a tree trunk, and sign for me to come to his side.

Galen: Come sit.

I went and sit down beside him while just staring at the couple still sleeping peacefully.

Heri: Are we waiting for them to wake up?

And I look at him while he just stare at the sleeping couple from where we are.

Galen: There life will be quite hectic and might even turn scary from this moment forth. So let's make them rest peacefully at least for today.

I nod to that. Their life will really get hectic when they get caught. In Iklu, intrusion is really quite a big deal.

But I guess since the other side is Tilbe, they have some chances.

I lean down at Galen shoulder and give out a sigh completely tired.

Heri: I just remembered that both of us haven't sleep today. Or more like, my body force me to remember.

Galen chuckle when I said that.

Galen: I think it is the place that is making everyone relax and willing to rest.

I nod my head with a big yawn, completely tired out.

Galen: You can sleep if you want, although it might not be for long, but still.

I look up at him in contemplation, very much tempted by his words but chose to stay against it.

Heri: Iam that type of a person who once start sleeping, just won't wake up no matter what you do, to wake me. So I think its better for me to stay awake and clear headed.

He chuckled as I said that.

Galen: Well I guess, thats a new thing about you I learn today. Iam glad!

I look at his grinning face is disbelieve. How can someone be so interested in someone else is also a mystery.

Heri: Well if only that much information is going to make you that happy, then you can ask me many many more. Iam quite happy with sharing everything.

He look at my side excitedly making me excited as well.

Galen: Well the classic, what is your favourite colour?

Heri: Turquoise!

Galen: That is surprising, since I have never seen you wearing or being with one.

I nod in agreement,

Heri: I mean I really like the colour, I do but not really in my cloth, weird.

He look at me like Iam weird and I also agree with his look.

Galen: Well I guess, that also happen.

I nod with him, as if agreeing on something quite serious and important making me chuckle at my own action.

Heri: What about yours?

He look a bit hesitated to say while I raised my eyebrow in suspicion at his action.

Heri: Just say it!

Galen: The colour of your eyes, somewhat gray and somewhat darker. I like it the best.

I look at him, a smile automatically coming to my face.

Heri: I really like the colour of your eyes as well, they are beautifull and just look so enchanting.

He smile when I said that.

Galen: Thank you.

Heri: But damn, you can really make any answer of yours romantic. You have to teach me how to do that one of this days.

He look at me for a while when I said that, and shake his head in denial making me look at him in question.

Heri: Why not?

Galen: I love the way you speak out all your mind and even the way you flirt or tease or whatever it is.I don't want you to learn anything. And besides what will happen if you became a master in it and went to someone else while I remain alone.

I was all heart and aww by the start of the sentence, but the ending just make me look at him dryly.

Heri: Are you telling me that with your skills, you have it in you to go to someone else leaving me?

He look at me startled by my interpretation while I look at him pointedly.

Just then we heard a stir, so we look ahead and saw the guy stiring a little.

Galen: Well, will you look at that.

And he quickly stand up and went towards them while I tch at him.

Damn! Saved by a stir.

Now its nearly morning, although the sun has not rise yet, it is already quite bright, so we can see much more clearly.

I went towards them as well and stand besides Galen waiting for the guy to wake up.

Which he did in a minute, and when he turn and saw us just standing there watching him, he jumped back scared and mainly surprised.

Heri(whisper): We should have mind where we were standing instead, if we want to give him peace right?

He get closer to me as well and whisper.

Galen: Right, but us whispering just seem to freak him out more.

And when I look back again, he did look more scared and suspicious.

While I was observing him, Galen walk a little forward his face cold and blank, emotionless. I guess, we are working now.

Galen: I think you will know why we are here right?

The guy sigh and close his eye while his hand tremble.

The guy: Well I guess, me going in without the pass have been found out.

Galen look at him and smile coldly at his explanation while I just observe from the back.

Galen: And you think that's the only reason why you are chased?

The guy: I know that we can't get in Iklu without the pass and all. But Iam a person from Iklu and I did it due to unavoidable circumstance, cause I have no way to contact Iklu.

Lair, everyone from Iklu know that the keeper has a way to communicate with the kingdom and is always there to help out in any kind of problem.

Galen: You might be a person of Iklu but she is not.

I look at him surprised, why does he believe that he is from Iklu.

While I look at him, the guy at the mention of the girl quickly hug her to himself and get into a defensive stance.

The guy: Leave her be, she is my wife and I can bring my wife right?

No, thats a lie too. Cause for a wife or a husband to come and live here they have to be married in Iklu.

So if the guy is indeed from Iklu, he will say that the girl is his fiance and is here to get married not that she is his wife cause right now, thats like an invalid point.

Galen: You are not from Iklu.

The guy look up at him afraid and both frustration.

The guy: Iam and that is the truth.

He seems desperate and sincere to some point but Galen royally ignore his words.

Galen: Why are you here in Iklu, that too with another person who is also an outsider.

By this time the girl had woke up and is looking at all of us with a super confused look.

And that suggest that, she dont know who we are and what we are doing, so completely an outsider who dont know much or anything about Iklu.

Galen question was meet with silence while he look at them and just stand there. While I do too.

It's his way of doing work, and I don't want to interfere, I might just end up jeopardize it for him cause we have no plan to begin with.

The guy: Are you guys going to arrest us?

That alerted the girl as well but she kept mum and just look up at us in complete fright, while the guy tried to comfort her as much as he can with the circumstances.

Galen: No, you will be let go for now.

I look at him surprised but kept mum, believing in his way of doing things.

The guy: Then why are you here?

Galen: To warn you.

The guy: About what?

Galen: Tell the one that brought you here, that if you will not keep your promise then leave quietly, if not do as its promise for the betterment of everyone.

And with that, Galen hold my hand and we went away with me all confused.

Heri: What was that?

Galen sigh as I said that?

Galen: I also don't know quite well. But Tilbe texted and said to let them go after a warning, which happen while I was walking towards them. Sorry I couldn't inform you, you must have been startled.

Heri: Well I do trust you in term of work.

I really do, that is why I didn't interfere even when I see him giving them a chance to go away, when we come to catch them that is.

Galen: Only in term of work?

And he look at me playfully while I just shrug with a poker face making him look at me suspiciously. which in turn make me laugh, and him smile.

And like that we went back home, with me all ready to have my beauty sleep.
