14. Business Trip

Heri's Point Of View.

Iam sitting by the conference room once again to meet Tilbe cause last time she ran away, or more precisely we make her ran away.

And yesterday I went to my date while Tilbe also don't meet outsider on anyday so I couldn't come.

So here Iam sitting by the table waiting for her. And at that time, the door creak open making me look up expecting it to be Tilbe but instead I saw the deep red familiar eyes again making me gasp in surprised.

It's like a deja vu.

What's he doing here again?

Heri: Why are you here again?

He chuckled and sit down opposite me when I ask that.

Galen: Well nice to meet you too darling!

I still keep on staring at him, expecting an answer to my question and not his sarcastic one.

He tried to stare back at me and this goes on for a while but he finally give in, making me fistpump in victory on the inside while maintaining my cool on the outside.

Galen: Well I also came here for something last time and didn't meet the fruit basket and you will know why. So here Iam.

I nod my head in Oh, while he keep his elbow by the table and his handsome face supported by his palm, and looking at me intensely making me quite nervous.

Heri: If you keep on staring like that, I think we will not meet Tilbe even this time, so stop it.

He chuckle as I said that. Hah! The nerve, Iam quite serious here and is saying nothing but facts.

Galen: You too know the way to my heart quite well.

Huh? What did I do that he is saying that?

Iam confuse, wasn't I just telling him not to stare at me and nothing else.

I was about to ask what it is, but then was cut off by the door opening once again. And truly this time, the one we are waiting for is here, Tilbe.

She walk in and look at us suspiciously.

Tilbe: You children are not doing anything funny again are you? Should I come back another time again?

I blushed red directly while trying to swallow my embarrassment, while Galen give me one of his lazy grin and even wink at me making me growl at him from the inside.

Galen: We are not doing much Tilbe, although if you can give us time, we have much to do.

I look at him shock as he said that and quickly intervene.

Heri: Oh My God, don't listen to him. He is just spouting nonsense. And come on in, why are you just standing there by the door, making me more embarassed.

And I facepalm again, it is her house and Iam welcoming her in. Can this get any more embarassing then this. Kill me!

While I clench my eye shut in embarassment, Galen sit there trying his best to hold back his laugh making me glare at him in pure anger.

But before I can degrade and make the situation any worse, Tilbe save me from all my trouble.

She rush in happily and chirpily like she always and come and hug me.

Tilbe: It's been so long since the last time I saw you sis Ri.

And I smile at her while patting her head lovingly, she is quite a bit shorter than me and is quite petite so she look more like my little sister and also, she keep on calling me like Vann since she was a child and is always with us. So she is like a little sister to me.

Heri: Thats because you never came to visit me anymore!

She smile at me apologetically while saying.

Tilbe: Iam bit quite busy for a while. But that's not the point, look I have a gift for you.

And she excitedly step back making me look at her confused.

Then she did something with her hand and her power started to glow like it usually does and then I feel some tingle in my feet making me look down.

I look at it shock, the heels I was wearing before has now changed. It is now decorated by beautiful flowers like vine that comes up to my ankle and bloom beautifully feeling soft in my feet.

Heri: Woww!

Tilbe: I know right, I can finally do it!

And she look at me with a huge grin while I smile back at her with the same vigour.

Actually since she was little she wear shoe made of flower which naturally is there on her all the time, and since then we have been trying to make me one as well but it always wilt away and can't stay at me even for a second but I guess this time she really did it, considering its blooming in its full glory.

Heri: Thank you Tilbe, this is beautiful, and you really did a great job with it.

She smile at me while looking at my heels which look so beautiful with many different flower here and there.

Tilbe: Hmm, Iam just hoping you dont mind me ruining your heels!

I laugh at that, that is the things she is worrying about when she just give me a masterpiece.

Heri: A gift from someone we love is always worth more than something I buy to me. Always remember that!

She grin looking up at me brightly, while I look at her with a smile of my own.

Just then we hear a cough bringing us out of our moment.

Galen: The two of you do remember that Iam still here right?

When I heard that I look back at him and give a small smile while Tilbe just look at him blankly, giving nothing away shocking me a bit.

The familiar giddiness and joyful and childlike spark in her eyes all gone just in a moment. Is this how he normally treat others, cause man this is new.

Tilbe: Alright then shall we talk about why you are here?

I nod my head while settling down, and Galen doing the same.

Tilbe: Sis Ri, you can go first. I hope you don't mind Galen!

He nod in an okay when he heard that.

Heri: Well I need to went out to select some needed books for the library. I send someone to do it, but there seems to be some problem cause there is no news about it.

She nod slowly, actually I work as a librarian. The only difference being, Iam the owner of the library and my library have with all the normal book, with record all the royal agendas and policy and any important files of the kingdom which I took part in making myself.

The normal books and information are open for everyone in the country while the others files are kept seperately in a private manner.

Tilbe: Okay go on, I see why not. But when do you plan to leave?

Before I answer Galen interrupt by raising his hands. Which make both me and Tilbe to turn towards him.

Galen: Actually even me I need to go out, the machine I need are lacking and moreover the business outside need some intervention from my part. The detail of which are already prepared here.

And he slide the documents he have in his hands, while Tilbe just stare at it and sigh heartily.

Tilbe: I'll look into it and let you know about it. But then if both of you are leaving, Iam guessing you want to leave together right?

I didn't know of this plan, heck I just found out Galen need to leave as well just about now. But I guess the more the merrier right.

Galen: That will be great!

I nod agreeing with him, while Tilbe also nod agreeing.

Tilbe: Well I don't see why not!

We all nod together this time, all having done with our business.

Tilbe: Then Iam happy to announced that the meeting is adjourned!

And she stand up eager to go away Iam guessing. Tilbe hate long meeting the most, so she always tries to make it as short as possible. In a way, she is the best boss anyone can ask for.

Tilbe: Sis Ri, Iam hoping you can also give me a detailed report about the book so that I can do the necessary.

I nod my head agreeing with her.

Tilbe: Okay then, I will see you lovebirds later on!

And she sneakily slips away, while I once again blush flustered. That little Tilbe, really!

Galen: If you are going to blush that beautiful scarlet everytime someone said something about us, that I hope they do it more often.

I frown at his words and turn back to him with a glare, while he look at me all calm. His lazy grin still intact and his deep red eye as dazzling as ever.

Heri: It is so not fair!

He look at me confused.

Galen: What is?

Heri: That only I become flushed and blush about it as if you do nothing. It take two to tango you know, so naturally even at reacting, it should be two no?

He chuckled when I said that!

Galen: Don't be dejected, I seem calm because other can't see my heart. It is even blushing right at the moment.

And he point at his heart as if telling me to look, making me chuckle a bit at his act.

Heri: Whatever! Anyway we will again later then.

And I stand up but he quickly come my side and stop me making me look at him a bit confused.

Galen: Why don't we have our kitchen date now? I like spending time with me way too much not to try.

I laugh a bit at that.

Heri: I have a report to write remember. But let's have out dinner date when we come back after we finish our business outside okay?

He pout a bit but nod anyway making me smile warmly at his adorable act.

Heri: Oh by the way, I also like spending time with you a bit too much actually. I'll miss you.

And then I give him a small flying kiss an walk away while he catch my kiss dramatically and give me an untouched kiss to with his signature kiss which make me swoon at him from within.

And with a big smile I walk away already looking forward for our trip.

I guess this time around, I can't just pack anything. I need a thorough thought on what to wear and what to not. Because Iam somebody who feel much more confident and much less nervous when Iam dressed in something I like!
