Jazz sat next to Jade on the bench. They smiled at each other, knowing they would be next on the sparring ground. Jazz wanted to go easy, but Jade forbade her to do so, saying she could take a defeat. Her motto was : " Getting down is the best way to learn". But she was a prodigy. She always excelled in everything she touched, making her a borderline snob. In her previous pack, she was the best of the best. There was no challenge left for her there and every day felt the same. Then, she met Henry. Oh Henry. Their first encounter began with a fight. When she felt the bond, she became excited. Finally, something new happened to her, new challenges, a new story. At first, she was disappointed. Even in a new environment, she remained the same Miss Perfect. Until she couldn't win anymore, even with the best efforts. Jasmine quickly became a best friend and a rival.
Jade took a sip of water. Her thin brown hair was tied up in a tight ponytail, her jade eyes bore into hers and her thin hand hit her arm.
Jade: Whatcha thinkin' bout?
Jazz: Darcy, obviously.
Jade: Oh.
Jade was not fond of Darcy, she thought she was all but useful, there was no way she would accept a witch as a Luna, yet there she was. Waiting for Ethan to make a decision. She was also jealous of her. Before she arrived, Henry and Jasmine were with her every time they could. She felt happy and finally at home. Then Darcy came. Henry worked more and more, coming home late. (even if it was totally unrelated to Darcy) Spending time with that witch instead of her. And, Jasmine, who ended up spending her training time to go shopping with that weirdo made her resent her even more.
Jade: You like her?
Jazz: Well, she freaks me out sometimes, but yeah I like her, you really should stop avoiding her, babe.
"What a waste of time and energy". Once they called her name, she went on the mat, standing in front of Jazz. She was huge, strong and her fists felt like concrete. But this time, she'll beat her. Although, during the match, pride took over her, she became arrogant and it cost her focus. She ended up face on the ground with her pride shattered.
She stood fast and walked away. "Why can't I ever beat her?". She stepped out of the training ground to go self-loathing. She wanted to see Darcy and know what's so great about her, instead she simply mumbled at herself while spashing water on her face.

Jazz: Where's Jade?
Jason: She left again. Probably pissed you kicked her as*.
She nodded and walked out of the training ground. There were two ways to join the hall from there. The first was the long way through the East wing hallway and the second, fastest way, by far, the west wing. Because of the recent event, the second option was prohibited, but why would Jade go this way? Jazz saw her walking by the security tape and walked out of sight into the west wing.
Jazz: Hey! Jade, What the hell are you doing?
She heard her steps fastened deeper into the hallway. Jazz, despite her great fear, decided to follow her. She thought maybe Jade was the demon and she still had the holy water Darcy gave to her. Since the demon could possess anyone, it was highly suspicious of her to go through the west wing. "Damn, where is she?" She ran farther, but there was no way she could not see her, that place was wide and there was no hiding place. How could she disappear like that? She decided to call her and she heard a ring tone, "ac/dc thunderstruck" Jade ring tone, resounded in one place. The obvious place. That intersection, leading to the west dorm. Jasmine used to live there for a while with her roommate Rita. But as she got closer, an anxious feeling creeped through her bones. She was ready to fight anything in front of her, but what if it was a ghost? How was she supposed to fight the untouchable? Ah hell with it, her best friend might be hurt.
She kept walking toward the ring tone.
Jazz: Jade. Jade!
She faced the intersection. It was dark and ominous and right there, a phone ringing at least 20 meters in the depth of the darkness.
Jazz: Ethan, you hear me?
Ethan: Yes, what is it?
She explained the situation to Ethan, but while she waited for him to answer, she heard a further noise in the dark. It was like something had snapped. She opened the flashlight on her phone and pointed at the sound. There was nothing, not even Jade's phone.
Ethan: Get out of there!
Suddenly, her phone rang. It was... Jade? She answered.
Jazz: Jade? Where are you?
Instead of her voice, she heard a loud and harsh breathing. Her blood went cold, she kept calling for her friend, tears of fear running down her cheeks. Until she heard Jade's voice in the background saying "come closer..."
While her eyes were fixed on the darkness, unable to move, she suddenly heard wet footstep that quickened in her direction, still nothing was there until she saw bloody footstep comming right at her. This time, her body woke up, adrenaline rushing through her veins, she ran toward the hall as fast as she could. Once she got there, she looked behind her, but there was nothing.
She wiped the tears and sweat that cascaded on her face with the back of her wrist. She went toward the East wing to find Jade. But there she found a child standing still.
Jazz: Oh my god, love! Are you lost? Where's your mommy?
She stayed still. Staring right in her eyes, in an unnatural way. a smile spreaded across the child's face, showing bloody half rotten teeth. She quickly pulled out her iron bottle and spashed her with it. The second the water touched the small girl, she released a loud cold scream that paralized Jazz. Her skin was melting and the more the scream went, the more it seem to come from the depts of hell. Jazz started to scream too but no sound came out, making her desperate to run away, but her body would not budge. She stayed there, silently screaming while her mouth began to grew so unnaturally wide. Her teeth became sharp, her tongue grew way too long, her eyes got sucked inside of her skull and her hand wraped around her ankle to yank her violently toward her. Her body fell hard, hitting her head right there on the hard floor.
Jazz: No... no please no... please let me go... please ...
The thing clawled over her body until it faced her completely. Jazz cried, her breath was jerky and her body was paralized.
"I'm gonna die..."

Ethan: Jade?
Jade: What?
Ethan: Where are you?
She looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, frowning at the question. "why?"
Jade: In the bathroom...
She got out, going back in the training ground. Jazz was nowhere to be seen.
Jade: Where's Jazz?
Jason: I thought she was with you?
Ethan: Where's Jazz?
