Disparition

After a month of having his mate around, he could not help but notice weird things began to happen. First of all, it is unrelated to her, but female werewolves began to disappear, making him come home late. Second, his mate began to appear out of nowhere, even if his office door was locked, she was able to get in to give him tea or food and he never knew where she came from. Third, there were apparitions, noises and weird behavior from her. One day she began to put salt lines at every door in the apartment. He could hear her sing weird songs in another language in her room. She could stare at a mirror for so long and there was a time when he swore he heard her talk to someone in her room. When this happened, there was no salt on the ground. "What is she doing?" Albert: You don't understand! It's been a week and my daughter is still missing! Hugh: My daughter didn't come home last night either! Their voices brought him back from his thoughts. Both men held their crying spouse in their arms. They were desperate. Ethan didn't know what more he could do. He organized a manhunt to find the 6 disappeared girls but the camera showed nothing, there were no witnesses, nothing out of the ordinary, not even a small sign of struggle. He tried to calm them down but nothing helped ease them down. He was as lost as they were. Since the west wing became hunted, woman had vanished and search teams too. Rebecca Raven was the last victim. When they finally left, he called Henry to come in. Before he arrived, he could not help but to think about his mate. Those nightmares she kept having from the past month scare him. He had those too. About a long arm shadow, running after her. This was definitely caused by the west wing. After the vampire attack, this place became haunted. All of the paranormal activity was concentrated in this zone until his mate came in. Yet, he had no knowledge of anything paranormal. Did she? Did she knew something? He asked her about it several times but she wouldn't say. He was certain of it; she knew more than she wanted to show. She suffered. Yes, that was no secret, but what about herself? She talked about what happened when she was a slave to Dr. Tremblay, but nothing about herself. She was determined to keep a secret. What was it? Henry opened the door. He told him exactly what he was thinking about. That day, when the vampire Flako infiltrated the mansion, he probably released something evil. They will need some serious outside of the box thinking to get this situation under control. In this pack, everyone was trained to fight. How could six fully trained warriors could disappear without a trace? Henry: I know you don't want to think about it but... What if we call... Ethan: The Dalbuquerque family would not help, they think our kind kidn*pped their kid! They made it quite clear they didn't want to do anything with us... Henry: But they are the only ghost hunters we know. They may be the solution. Yes, 18 years ago, the Dalbuquerque family lost their five-year-old child. For so long, they tried to conceive but nothing happened. They went to see a doctor who told them they might never have a child of their own. Arianna was devastated, but not hopeless. Every day she tried so many recipes. Medicinal herbs, spells, anything to improve her capacity to conceive. Then a miracle happened; she gave birth to a girl. A beautiful baby girl. This was a family of witches. So, of course, the baby was it. Arianna and Guzzo thought they were in heaven. Until that faithful day when Arianna was walking with her in a forest to collect herbs, she heard a noise. She turned to see what it was and a huge dark wolf attacked her and knocked her down. The wolf probably thought she was dead, but her healing capacity kept her alive. By the time she woke up, her daughter was gone. She searched her whole life for that child to bring her back home. She tried ancient methods, retracing with blood but it was like she was dead. At that time, she lived next to a wolf pack, she grew angry. A wolf stole her baby, probably for s*****y or breeding... She swore to find out who it was and torture him until he died. Ethan was uneasy about asking her for help, yet he had to admit, this was up their alley. Paranormal activity, strange wolf disappearances and vampire stuff. But there was no way they would accept to meet him, especially helping them was out of the question. -------------------------------------------------- In the meantime, Darcy had gained weight, she became healthier, off drugs and stronger. She was happy to remember every day clearly. She was still afraid of every little thing, but there was progress. Jasmine went shopping with her that day. Jasmine: You really like dresses, don't you? They ended up in a little artisanal boutique. She loved all kinds of dresses. Pants made her uncomfortable. She rather had long sleeved dresses. She had found plenty of them in that boutique. Some were brown corsets with a white skirt, others were decorated with purple lace. She took some of them along with fancy red doc martins, pouches, a pocket belt and a mirror the size of a book that she hanged on her back. She really looked like she was ready to go on an adventure. It was her new style. When they were done in the shop, they went back to the manor. Darcy was now used to seeing ghosts and one in peculiar was not leaving her side. Her name was Tishanna. It was the ghost she saw in the west wing the first time she went there. When the ghost saw her, she joined her in the elevator. Tishanna: B*tch, would it kill you to look at me? Damn, kids, these days they don't have any manners! She glanced at her, frowning. She usually didn't talk back, nor did she answer her when she was around living souls. She knew what was coming, that girl was a gossip all over. She will talk forever. She sigh. Tishanna: I always thought that one was gay. She's a butch, man. But, turns out she's in love with that masochist guy. Hey you know what, b*tch? Lately, some girls went off the grid! Even I don't know what happened and every dead bozos here had not seen sh*t. I bet it's that demon we saw the other day! Hey, do you know Rebecca disappeared too? It's that blond sl*t who tried to seduce Alpha Ethan the other day, remember? B*tch, you were mad! I could see in your eyes, like "Get off my man!" Oh wow, I would kill to see you like that again. You know what? Next time just DESTROY HER. I know you wanted to scare the sh*t out of her. Don't lie to me, I know everything. I was hurt though. How dare you put salt around your door, I mean b*tch, I do a lot for you! I give you Intel, I give you the directions when you get lost, I tell you when someone approaches you, I mean damn girl. You can at least show some respect! You know what? I saw Donna-jo and Anderson kiss last month. That's right! Before she got taken, they shared a bed. I mean damn, that guy is mated! What a cheat! It's too bad she disappeared, though. She was nice. I saw him cry about it. What a wuss! I mean, she is not his mate. Don't take me wrong, I am digging the drama, but not that kind of drama. Darcy listened to her but frankly, she wanted her to shut up for once. She talked so much her brain was melting. Yet, she was closer to her than anyone else. When she was alone with her, she felt safe enough to talk about this and that. She was dead and no one was seeing her but herself. Even if she said some secrets, Tishanna could not repeat it, nor touch her. However, the more time she spent without drugs, the more she could control her ability. She realized she could touch a ghost as if it was a real person when she concentrated enough. She tried with Tish and it worked. She also had much better control over mirrors. Though Tishanna wouldn't stop gossiping to other ghosts about it. There were exactly 76 of them within the walls of Fang howler's manor. All followed a certain person and stayed in range of them. It was those living that they were bound. Tishanna was bound to Henry. It was his sister. She died 5 years ago in his arms. She never really left him after that. Jasmine: Darcy! She jumped. Jasmine had been calling her name for quite some time. She was so far in her thoughts ( or listening to Tish) she didn't realize Jasmine was trying to communicate. Tishanna disappeared as she looked at the green-haired woman in an over-dramatic defensive position, making Darcy smile. Jasmine: What if we cook for Ethan and Henry? They worked all day, they must be hungry. Would you like that, love? Se nodded. She wanted to see him. For the past month, he has been working so hard. She decided to make finger food. He might not have time to eat with both hands. Jasmine watched her, she was impressed. She knew Darcy didn't like it when people helped her cook. They didn't chop the onions the way she wanted, the potatoes needed to be cut the exact same size, the salad should be done her way... When it was not, she pouted in her own way. The kitchen was off limits. Funny enough, when Ethan sometimes cooked for himself, she would help him and unconsciously took over and chased him out of there. She obviously liked to be there. It was her rightful place. Moreover, it was the only thing she said she wanted. So they let her cook. Once she was done, she glanced at the mirror, thinking it would go faster if she went in his office through it. However, something caught her attention. She could see through the west wing glass. Usually, she had to want to see it to be able to actually see it. Not this time. She walked around the kitchen island to reach it. Once she faced it, a woman stood there. Someone she had never seen before. She was hurt. Her auburn hair was messy and dirty, she seemed dangerously thin, her short white gown was covered in blood. Her legs and arms had cuts on them. Her face broke in a desperate need to be seen and heard. Girl: Help... Help! Darcy's body chilled. Her hair straightened, her heart rate accelerated and a shot of adrenaline pushed through her veins. She knew the mirror there was too small for her, she chose a bigger one in the lobby and ran through it. She sprinted toward the west wing corridor. Dr. Tremblay, who was passing by, saw where she headed and ran after her. Dr. Tremblay: Attend! She didn't wait, that girl needed help. Once she got there, the girl wasn't there anymore, but bloody footsteps seemed to go toward the dark alley. Without thinking, she followed them, only to be stopped by a strong hand that pulled her to a hard chest. Darcy: NO! LET ME GO, SHE NEED HELP! Dr. Tremblay: You are not going in there, mademoiselle! Darcy: No! She tried to get him off of her but he was too strong. She looked in the west wing and saw the girl right before she dissapeared in the shadows. She heard a cry and whimpers goind deeper into the darkness. Girl: You gotta help... please... Darcy: DON'T YOU HEAR HER? LET ME GO! Dr.Tremblay froze. He looked in there, not knowing who she was talking about. He did see faint footprints that immediately disappeared. He took a deep breath when he realized that maybe she could see the dead. However, usually, ghosts don't seem so hurt and desperate. That was why she was convinced it was a real girl. Dr. Tremblay: Que déesse nous vienne en aide... He wrapped what he could of Darcy and ran toward the second floor.
