In a tragic turn of events, Sera met a devastating end at the hands of her own friend, only to awaken as Anastasia, a young princess in the celestial realm. As Anastasia grew older, her extraordinary abilities linked to the celestial bodies in the sky became apparent, setting her apart from those around her. However, these unique powers also made her a target for those who desire to exploit her. Recognizing the dangers she faced, Anastasia's uncle, the king of the Celestials, made a fateful decision. He secretly sent her to a prestigious university where both light and darkness coexisted, hoping it would provide her with protection and a chance to explore her true potential. As Anastasia delved into her new life at the university, she gradually unraveled a shocking truth about her lineage—a truth that posed a profound dilemma. She found herself standing on a cliff, torn between her celestial heritage and the choice to forge her own path. Will she succumb to the lure of darkness that pulses within her, becoming a harbinger of eternal night, or will she rise above her lineage, embracing the light within her soul?

Chapter 1
As the sun began its descent, a warm golden glow enveloped the familiar path that Lia and I walked on our way home from school, just like we did every day. She and I had been together for as long as I could remember, making us more like twins than friends. We laughed, cried, and dreamed together, finding strength in each other. Honestly, I don't think I could have made it this far without her positive and cheerful attitude. But on that particular day, as we strolled side by side, I couldn't help but notice a shift in Lia's demeanor. She was unusually quiet, and her once cheerful spirit seemed clouded by a restlessness that was hard to ignore. It puzzled me, considering how she would usually cling to me while enthusiastically talking about her day. I couldn't help but let my curiosity get the best of me, so I finally spoke up, "Hey, Lia, is everything okay? You seem kinda different today." I couldn't hide the worry in my voice. Lia glanced at me, her eyes darting nervously around, before finally gathering the courage to speak. Her voice was barely audible as she whispered, "Sera, I need you to come with me somewhere. It's really important." I couldn't help but feel puzzled by her request, and doubts started creeping into my mind. However, I decided to trust her and agreed to accompany her, even though a part of me was still unsure about what was going on. We walked together in silence, our footsteps echoing through the quiet streets. With each step, the surroundings became more and more unfamiliar, and an unsettling feeling settled in my chest. Eventually, we reached what appeared to be an abandoned lot, and as I breathed in the air, I immediately covered my nose. The smell was musty and carried a faint scent of decay, something I couldn't quite identify. A wave of unease tightened its grip on me as darkness fell upon us, casting an eerie atmosphere around us. "Lia, it's getting late, and it's so scary here. Can we please go home?" I pleaded, hoping she would understand my growing fear. Lia turned to face me, her expression stubborn. "No, Sera, we have to wait a bit longer. Trust me," she said, her voice filled with a strange intensity that sent shivers down my spine. I pressed my lips together, biting back the fear that threatened to consume me. Shadows danced around us, and an eerie silence hung in the air, broken only by the faint sound of rustling leaves. Time stretched on, each minute feeling like an eternity, until I couldn't bear the anticipation any longer. Just as I was about to insist we leave, I felt a sudden grip on my shoulders. "Who are you? Let me go!" I shouted while trying to get loose from this unfamiliar guy's grip. "Lia, help me!" I turned to her, desperately calling for her help. Fear wrapped around my heart, tightening its grip, as I watched Lia's smile twist into something sinister. It was a smile that spelled imminent danger. "Stop resisting, Sera. You can't escape. There's no one here to save you," she taunted, her voice stripped of the friendship and trust that had once defined us. Confusion mingled with my mounting terror, the question of what I had done to deserve this haunting my thoughts like a relentless ghost. "Why are you doing this? What did I ever do to you?" I cried out, tears welling up in my eyes. "Oh, nothing much. I just can't stand you. I hate your voice, your face, everything about you," Lia sneered. "I thought we were friends! You traitor!" "Ha! Friends your face! Charlie, finish her. She's starting to annoy me again," she commanded with an icy conviction. The words echoed through the night, each syllable a piercing stab of betrayal that cut deeper than any physical pain. Summoning every ounce of strength within me, I sank my teeth into Charlie's arm, determined to break free from his grip. The surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins, granting me a temporary burst of power. Without wasting a single moment, I ran, the world around me blending into a chaotic blur. Gasping for air, my lungs burned, but I dared not slow down or look back, terrified of witnessing Lia's malicious satisfaction—a chilling reminder of the trust that had been shattered and our once unbreakable bond now severed. Eventually, my breathlessness and disorientation forced me to come to a halt. Gasping for air, my lungs struggled to fill with oxygen while my trembling body attempted to recover from the surging adrenaline. In that moment of exhaustion, a searing pain pierced through my right shoulder, instantly snapping me back to reality. Caught off guard and bewildered, I couldn't help but cry out in surprise, "Ouch! What in the world..." My vision blurred for a moment as I blinked away the disorientation, trying to regain my focus. I glanced down, only to find a syringe cruelly embedded in my shoulder. Panic surged within me once more, threatening to overwhelm my senses, but I fought against the encroaching darkness that threatened to consume me. Dizziness overwhelmed me, spinning around me like a whirlwind, making my knees weak and almost causing me to collapse. I fought to stay conscious, struggling to catch Lia's last words amidst the haze that clouded my fading awareness. Her voice came through, but it felt distant and muffled, as if it was trying to reach me from far away. "Goodbye, my dear friend Sera," she taunted, her words distorted and chilling, echoing in my ears as the cloak of unconsciousness began to descend upon me. As the darkness of unconsciousness closed in around me, I felt my last breath slip away, the weight of betrayal becoming my final companion.
