I can hear the song in the car radio as my protagonists tear their clothes off and drivers try to pretend not to notice what’s happening in the backseat. I’m a huge fan of Chase Atlantic, Arctic Monkeys, the neighbourhood, Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, etc. Their voices accompany me when I write. Now, this is my most basic, modern taste in music. I limit that taste to contemporary music when I’m writing contemporary works. So, you’ll find them scattered across this work.
