Chapter 26
I stare at my reflection as I play with the new helix piercing that I just got two hours ago. The golden hoop winked at the light that caught it. I placed two bigger hoops in my ears. I was wearing something that I bought years ago that Patrick never allowed me to wear. A black off shoulder dress that hugged all my curves and was open at the sides. I wanted him mad. I wanted him to be furious. I grab my blush but I had caught a bit of sun today on the track so I didn’t even need it, I realised as I scanned my face. I hover a moment as I put it down. My hair was pulled up in a high ponytail to show off my new piercing and as I turned around it swinged against my neck.
