Alena POV I stood there for a moment. “I won’t touch you, I just need you to get closer,” he says as he turns his back to me and runs his hand through his wet hair. He lathers the soap in his hands as he starts to wash his chest. He doesn’t turn around again and I take my time to study his back. I see the faint scars running across it and I don’t ask what caused it, because some part of me knew Evander was dangerous. Knew something was different about him. That something had made him so desirable that I couldn’t forget him for years. I was too tired to think. Too tired to care. I swallow my pride and move towards him.
