Alena POV
“Alena! Where are you?” Miss Penny shouts and I snap out of my trancelike state staring out the shop window.
“I’m coming!” I shout and rub my eyes trying to wake myself up. These last three days have been like a dream. I woke up in Dewei’s sister’s house wearing pj’s I didn’t recall getting putting on at all and worst of all without Evander. I haven’t heard anything from him so I was convinced that I had imagined the whole thing. I didn’t find any signs of him in the bathroom either. Dewei’s sister showed up and dragged Dewei away to their grandmother’s house. Her grandmother was sick and these last couple of days felt like years without her.
