Alena POV
“Stay silent,” Evander voice says in my mind and my eyes widen as I look at him and his lips aren’t moving. That is the second time he did it. I could hear his voice in my mind.
Rowan’s shadows attack the skin walkers and they are suddenly covered with darkness. They start to scream and the sounds like animals begging for their lives. I close my eyes and cover my ears until it ends. I look at Evander and realise his brown eyes had changed to the darkest black that I’ve ever seen.
“There are more outside, hide in the bathroom,” He orders Dewei and I as he slowly let’s go of our shoulders. As he stands up it looks like something is moving underneath his skin.
