Chapter 36
“I don’t think we should sleep here,” Dewei said as they looked around at all the bodies lying around them. She looked at the blood covering her in disgust.
“Who were they?” Alena asks as she still studies Evander as he shapes back into his human form.
“Skinwalkers,” Evander answered and snapped his fingers making all of the dead bodies disappear around them. Alena and Dewei couldn’t believe their eyes. There was no trace of the fight that just happened. Alena looked down at her hands covered with shards of glass.
“This is all a bit too much, I think you should take us home,” Dewei said as she looked over at Alena’s hands. Alena looked at Evander not sure what to do as she studied him as he looked out of the window.
“We’re safe now,” he said and Rowan nodded.
