One fateful day, as Zero was exploring the dense forest near his village, he stumbled upon a wounded phoenix. The magnificent bird was struggling to fly, its once vibrant scale now dull and lifeless. Moved by compassion, Zero approached the dragon cautiously.
"Are you alright?" Zero asked softly, his voice filled with concern.
To his surprise, the dragon turned its head towards him and replied, "I am dying, young one. My powers have been drained by an evil sorcerer who seeks to control all divine beasts. If you possess the ability to communicate with us, perhaps you can help."
Zero's eyes widened in astonishment. He had never encountered a divine beast in such dire straits before. Determined to save the dragon, he nodded and said, "I will do everything in my power to help you."
The dragon, grateful for Zero's willingness to assist, revealed that the only way to restore its powers was to retrieve a rare and magical crystal hidden deep within the Forbidden Forest.
