                Laurent jumped back as the knife sliced into the flesh of his abdomen.  Cursing he lunged back at the man in the chair.  How dare he even think for a moment he would get away with this?  Laurent could tell from the amount of blood pouring from the wound that it was deep, but also from its location that it hadn’t gone deep enough to end him quickly.  There was no burning other than the usual sting from tearing your flesh, so he knew he hadn’t perforated his stomach.  If he had done so Laurent knew from having done it to others enough that it would cause his body to expel the acids from his stomach and for blood to gurgle up his esophagus from entering his stomach.  He had always found it entertaining to see the look of horror on his target’s faces as this happened but it bro
